#1 - most runs, most dismissals, great in partnerships, highest % dismissal/test
McCullum probably would have been if he could've stayed with it - back problems though
I don't understand why he's leaving his last for England and not NZ - oh well
Makes it interesting to see who keeps now.
Definitely makes it easier for Conway to cement a place

Wadsworth & Lees are names in the record books for me , remember Smith , McCullum's batting exploits always seem to take over my memories of him as a keeper.
Watling's batting record amongst the Black Caps is a lot better than what I thought , only one less century than Fleming as well.
Does Latham keep at domestics level ?
Or do they give the gloves to one of the T20 options ?

Don't mind Greg Chappell's idea to start the Shield in August or September (play in NT and Queensland until the grounds are ready after AFL finishes) and have it completely finished by the time the BBL starts.
At least that way we have players actually playing red ball cricket before/during Test matches.
SA have done a great job to grab good players who deserve more of a go.
Doggett played 6 shield matches last season and took more wickets than Neser, Bartlett, Wildermuth and Steketee individually managed from either 6 or 7 matches.
McAndrew and Carder just deserve more of a go (McAndrew didnt play at all last season and Carder batted 4 times for 3 not outs, down the order in a WA line up that didnt fail too often).

Yes it was. Fair to say this doesn’t surprise me given his inability to change his batting method and get on the front foot after 4-5 years of being found begging at various levels.
Middlesex must not have anyone with a brain if they’re using Handscomb as captain.
WA looking very strong for next season with pretty much no changes to their squad. Only O'Connor (1 shield game last season), Carder (off to SA) and Brad Hope (no shield matches) being left out.
