Embarrassment is an understatement.

Pre covid, I spent the best part of the previous 6-7 years as part of the football broadcast team for my local community radio station. Considering all the advantages they possess, the quality of broadcasting on the major channels in this country is pathetic and comes to no surprise the unprofessionalism when compared to any televised international sport. Quality callers are rarely utilised instead favouring egomaniacal ex players on bloated contracts clinging on to any remaining relevance for dear life and displaying no interest in the game and prefer to engage in inane drivel. Noticed a lot of people constantly blaming AFL House for the excessive/unnecessary rule changes in recent seasons but the vitriol could be better directed to the broadcast partners who make no attempt to improve their product whatsoever yet lay all of the blame on the "state of the game", etc.
Luke Hodge has been a recent improvement, more of him and Daisy Pearce and less of BT would be a good start.

Kosi looking good so far, might have to pull some DPP shenanigans with Sharp to get his score on field. 61 with a quarter to go and about 20 minutes before the Brissy game starts, lets see if I can not balls this up.

Anyone remember that utterly embarrassing period where, on Friday Night Footy, the intro would introduce the commentators as though they were the reason you were watching? I don't think they do that so overtly any more but I'm fairly sure they still act like it.

I'm actually very tempted. Pretty much done my dash at the top now anyway, it'd be a definite POD move (Ziebell was in all but one of the top 1000 teams in Rd 8). Would allow for getting in an extra premium at least 1 week quicker, and would just run with a cheaper forward line - not like there's any decent premium options forward. 143 BE this round.
I think I might have done better if I had of stuck with trading Ziebell out like I did consider, currently on 52 in the 4th quarter. Yuk.
