ICC is showing the Finals of the T20 World Cup as being between Nov 11 - 15 (tbc).

If we still have a 14 day quarantine on arrival in place for November might not have a full strength side available for the Afghanistan Test.

Not much preparation for England either.

Fox Sports reporting David Saker to be given a multi-year as Renegades head coach.

Interestingly it also mentions that he has beat out former Stars coach Stephen Fleming, and current England and Hobart Hurricanes batsman Dawid Malan. Yes that’s right, DAWID MALAN. Bizarre.

I’m not sure whether it’s an error from Fox or not ? Seems strange for Malan to apply to be the head coach, you’d assume it’d be a playing coach type operation. God, the Renegades top 3 could do with his batting.

I recall Malan on the player mic last year saying that he doesn’t say much in the team/batting group meetings about his time at the Hurricanes, so a surprised to see him apply to coach whilst still playing and so young.

Really wish there was more info on the Malan element in the article. As it’s really interesting.

Thanks for the tip. Good to see Foxtel covering the series. I still really enjoy following test cricket but it's hard to know these days if and when the games will be played.

So it's two tests between England and New Zealand and then a week later its India V New Zealand for the test championship final...in England.

CPL ends September 19 , suspect the BCCI has already had discussions to get it to finish a week or so earlier now so they get the OS players to the UAE in time.

Due to start August 28 , 2nd Test v Pakistan finishes August 24 so not many days to play with.

India & England players flying to UAE the day after their final test ends.

Currently a 3 day quarantine on arrival into the UAE from the UK , same as for arrivals from the WI.

Will need to check schedules for AFG , AUS , BAN & NZ.

Think SA are clear at that time.

England have series v Bangladesh & Pakistan.

Afghanistan have series v Pakistan

New Zealand series v Pakistan

Chaos

I am sure PCB will do everything they can to assist the BCCI 😉
