Ideally, I would like to do:
Out: J Jordon and A Scott
In: J Ridley and I Heeney
or
Out: A Scott and J Rowe
In: A Cerra and I Heeney

With both leaving RCD or Poulter as the only rookie onfield but will likely settle on A Scott to J Madden with $370,000 to grab one of the above and Steele the week after.

With rookies looking like they are drying up, any Hawks supporters have thoughts on Ned Reeves through the byes?

Not sure who he displaced this week, scored pretty good (82), JS is probably poor but clutching at straws here to see who might be a downgrade target through the byes

Concerning that the clear best rookie options are also on the R13 bye... I'm already kind of at breaking point on that week and the fact that Scott is basically a forced out doesn't help (as I was planning to swap him for a R12, but I doubt any of the R13 rookies I'm carrying will be ripe by then)

OUT: Powell, Scott
IN: Madden, $657k

I can get just about anyone with that (I think Bont is literally the only mid left out of that range). But for various reasons I'm not sold on any of the elite options, whether it's staying off the R13 bye, wanting to save R12s for after said bye, or in the case of Steele and Petracca, not really feeling confident about their output compared to my targets in the first two camps. Might just take Cerra and give myself a bank for bye season.

EDIT: hmm, if Scott does have to miss a week (it was a concussion, right?) Bergman probably makes more sense to cull. That allows me to move Bolton down to the forwards, assuming he's back this week, and gets Waterman off field.

What to do with Atkins???
He's a bust, if you have the trades get a forward in with more upside, or use him to upgrade to a true premium in the midfield.
That's my dilemma. I can upgrade around Atkins and deal with him last (feels better) or I can sell the farm and grab Bont (which feels dirty)... genuinely torn.

EDIT: Bont a no-go due to byes. Steele perhaps. Feels a bit better as he is priced well. Still don't like moving on Atkins but it would happen sooner or later anyway.

Scott > Madden locked in. McCreery > Weightman or Heeney.

Still not sold on Heeney despite his price. Probably too many question marks on him heading into the byes. More important to build the bank with a good rookie I think.

Agree with you on Heeney. Was planning to bring him in but think he’s not anything more than an 80ppg in his current role.

McNeil - > Cerra

Leaves

L Jones
Jordon
...
Warner , Rowe

Will hold Jordon & Warner and try and get them to 2 of Adams (?) / Duncan / Neale / Steele eventually

Hopefully L Jones fattens up , Rowe maybe to Sidebottom eventually.

Byrnes , Flynn , McCreery & Poulter hopefully keep playing and making $$$.

Flynn - > Reeves possibly in Round 13

Fullarton , Fyfe , Highmore & Mansell dead at the moment but 13 rounds to go so maybe they return
