ROUND 11 PREVIEW

It's Round 11, and things are getting serious. It's that middle season slog where racking up wins is vital. Who is going to separate themselves from the pack, and who is going to start falling out of contention? It's all to play for in the SCS Premier League.

Match of the Round

SuperCoachScores v Ricky Bobby.jpg
An intriguing Match of the round this week, Both teams hanging around the middle of the ladder needing a win to stay in touch with the leaders. Coach Jay has turned his season around in a big way. After a poor start, he’s won four of his last five matches to put himself right back in contention. Coach James has turned a good start into a poor patch of form, losing his last four matches, however he can consider himself unlucky losing two of those matches by less than eleven points. POD’s everywhere in this one should see a classic encounter.
Prediction: Ricky Bobby to prove just that tiny bit too strong and win by 44

Other Matches

Beast FC v The Darkness.jpg
What a dog of a season for Coach Ben, despite not being terrible… things just haven’t fallen his way this year. A win is desperately needed to get his season back on track. Maybe an injection of new talent into his team will help? Coach Adrian has been in great form however, with three large wins in the last three weeks. When he is on, he is most definitely on... winning his five matches by an average of 138 points. He is looking very good at this stage of the season.
Prediction: The Darkness to once again put the foot down and win by 89

Courtesans v PC.jpg
One of the standout teams this season, Coach Keith is in fantastic form. Just five points short of making it seven wins in a row, He can’t set a foot wrong. He comes up against Coach Jack’s team, who has been a touch inconsistent this season alternating wins and losses. He would be keen to reverse that trend this week.
Prediction: PC to cause an upset and win in a nail biter by 23

Pay The Mark v TailsPower.jpg
What a task awaits Coach Mark this week in the ladder leading TailsPower. It’s a David vs Goliath battle, and he will have to pull out all stops to get the job done. It won’t be easy but I’m sure he will give it his all. Coach Adrian has been in cruise control this season, seemingly winning at ease, however two heavy losses in Round 1 and last week, shows that he is getable on occasion. He will want to focus this week and continue on his quest to lock down a Top two spot.

Prediction: TailsPower to re-join the winners list and have a good win by 98 points

Philzsay v Blaze.jpg
Think we are in for a cracker here. Coach Phil’s team is back in form after an early slump where he lost three matches in a row (Heavy Pub Sessions maybe?). He looks to have it back on track and will be aiming to make it three in a row this week. Coach Tom however is a man in Red Hot form, Five wins from his last six matches shows he means business. A good amount of POD’s in this one should provide riveting viewing.

Prediction: Really tough one to tip but Philzsay for the win by 26 points

Rons Badboys v GV Vikings FFC.jpg
POD’s galore. Two very heavy losses see Coach David needing a response from his troops this week. They must turn up for their coach. A big blow with their ruckman going down, He will need back-up Flynn to step-up. Coach Ashley has been a little up and down, but returned to the winner’s list last week. A full team effort will be required this week to get the win.
Prediction: GV Vikings to prove too strong and win by 66 points

Diabolical v MADMUNZA.jpg
Coach Andrew’s team has been hot & cold so far this season. Never knowing which version of his team is going to show up. Some consistent form is what the coach is asking for this week. After a trio of losses a few weeks ago, Coach Matt will be looking for his third win in a row this week. The team is looking in good shape an I expect them to be hard to beat.
Prediction: This will go down to the wire, but Diabolical Rabble to come out in front by 10 points

Brownie's Bandits v Goodie's Guns.jpg
Coach Iain has been hit hard by the injury bug this season, making consistent form hard to achieve. He will be looking to string consecutive wins together for the first time since the opening rounds. But it won’t be easy at all against the Mighty Goodie’s Guns. Coach Tim is not having the kind of season he would like, nor we expect from him, However his team is better than his record suggests. He’ll be looking to get a much needed win.

Prediction: Goodie’s Guns in an absolute nail biter by 11 points

Jaca's Attackers v Jibrangers.jpg
A great match-up to finish the round. Coach Jason would have been shocked and disappointed to lose last week. Surely it was just a bump in the road for the champ. He’ll be looking to get back on track. Coach Sho, after a poor start to the season… Has really come out firing in recent weeks. Four wins in a row has him looking like the gun we all know and fear. He’ll be looking for win number five in a row this week, but will have to fight hard for it.

Prediction: Jaca’s Attackers in a slight upset to get back on the winners list win by 26 points

@Ricky Bobby did the gentleman thing and make Grundy captain too
Crikey ... I was sure you were going to run with Macrae and was super relieved to see you had the C on Gawn as well (what happened? Did you have loop issues?)
Anyway, at least this will be a pure shootout without a failed C choice impacting the result. Good luck ( but not too much 😋)

Yeah had issues with Macrae loophole issues

I think we will both score well even with Grundy (c)
