Ended up 42 overall.

With SC, AFLDT, NBADT, FPL all going at once, lost track a little of EPLDT and all the lockouts! Kept KDB through his injuries and traded him last round (yes i had 2 trades lol) which probably cost me a top 30 spot.

Anyway as usual a very enjoyable season, , thanks to all and will be back again next season

Great effort.

What Leagues are you in? Would you like to join our Super League next season?

27th and 24th overall in the last 2 years, here’s hoping the Norwegian Vikings can strike a top 20 or even Top 10 for next season

OK, I'm not in the 1st SCS league so weren't aware of your finish. Have noted you now and will send you an invite next season.
Not fussed if you're not active here, as long as you pop in at the start of the season to join our league. ;)

I'm sure you'll get there. I found the biggest difference in this game was being around for team lineups and being able to make subs and transfers as late as possible. Bit tough for us Aussies who have a 9-11 hour difference to the games.

Welcome to my AFL world  although it's only at weekends really
when there are afternoon games played AUS time.

Aussies are 2 points away from guaranteeing a top 2 spot in the group, 5 from guaranteeing top spot. Surely they can't choke it from here...
Got up and watched last night , my knowledge of current Socceroo players is now about 2-3.

Barely heard of the others and where they play worldwide (couple at Hibs , one in Austria)

Was dissapointed with Kuwait , thought they were a lot better than that.

If Chinese Taipei and Nepal are worse than Kuwait the only way we would lose is if we gift them multiple own goals and penalties.

I didn't watch it, might check out a replay later on but it's not the same when you know the result. I did check the squad though and will admit I hadn't heard of almost half the squad. That's not necessarily a bad thing, hopefully it means the side will grow through experience, but it does show the lack of star power we have.

There's always lots of easy wins in these early qualifying matches, there have been 7-0 (Puerto Rico v Bahamas) and 8-0 (Bahrain v Cambodia) results in the last day or so, and those winning sides are not exactly powerhouses either. If the Aussies were any good, and if they are a realistic shot of qualifying they should put up similar numbers to those in their next two matches based on the quality of opposition. I'm not expecting American Samoa type numbers (31-0), but hopefully they have a go, and don't just sit on a 1 goal lead.

Archie Thompson with 13 goals.

Problem with the Socceroos for years , don't create enough chances in the final third to convert goals.

Most of our goals in recent times have come from penalties and set pieces (thank god for Cahill)

Will there be enough interest for a league for the Euro's ?
Seperate thread ?
Not for me sorry. I am trying to cut back on joining any new comps right now, as I'm already struggling to keep up with them all (I might make an exception for the upcoming Tour de France which I enjoyed last year), plus I don't really know enough of the players.

Good luck to anyone who is interested, sounds like it would be reasonably similar to EPL, just over a shorter time frame.
