Two trades for me this round.
Out: Leclerc, Sainz
In: Perez, Vettel

Happy with qualifying. It looked like Red Bull had good pace on the mediums so hopefully Perez can get past Bottas.
Gasly is having a very under rated season. He is towards the front of the best of the rest almost every round now.
Vettel 12th not terrible as he will start on mediums and try to jump those ahead starting on softs.
All of the Top 10 will start on the Medium's not the Soft's unfortunately for Vettel. Even Ricciardo got throught Q3 with Medium's.

Maybe rain might spice things up, not sure how much of a chance that is though, but I did hear Hamilton mention it.

Pretty sure they start with the tyre set they set their fastest Q2 lap on. I don't have the data, but I think at least some were on softs.

Guess the chance to move up is based on alpines race pace, which hasnt been good

Seem to recall Ricciardo going out on softs just in case but bailing out of the lap when nobody could get past him. Looks like a bland old one stopper then...
Yeah, Ricciardo was out there at the end of Q2 on softs but wanted to scrape through on Mediums if possible. All of the others had the pace to easily get through to Q3 on Mediums.

From The F1 Site...

Daniel Ricciardo, 10th, 1:31.382

It was positive that we got through to Q3 on the Medium tyre, that was definitely a target. My final lap felt good, and it felt like we had enough pace to be better than tenth. I’m a bit disappointed not to be a bit higher up the grid, but it is what it is. We’re still searching for those extra few tenths over a single lap, so we’ll try to make something happen tomorrow. All in all, I’m pretty happy with the performance. Everyone’s fast right now and the times are so tight, so we’ll work to keep finding pace.”

Let's see. It's a low chance of rain predicted at the moment. Cloudy and windy by the sounds of it.

I'll be watching a recording of the race tomorrow and I'm guessing I'll be forwarding through some sections.
Other that the first lap and perhaps the pit stops I think it will be all of it.Probably going to be a procession, but I have my fingers crossed 🤞

I'll be watching it Live tonight (A benefit of being in WA where we get it 2hrs earlier, lol) But it's not my favorite race of the year.

Hopefully something spices it up.

Tsunoda with changes to his floor (and suspension) and a gearbox change. Was due to start in last anyway but will now need to start from pit lane.

Also a thunderstorm warning is in place for this afternoon.

Good race for Danny Ric so far - net P6 (the Astons yet to pit) and some sweet moves, particularly on Alonso early on!

Quite a disastrous race for Ferrari, no points for the weekend.

Only watched the first few laps, from the results, it looks like keeping two Ferraris this round will kill my score. Thinking both go next round.
Think if you can get them to Merc/Aston that might be the way to go - maybe even McLaren/Aston if they look solid and try and get a Merc driver in. Will wait to see @Wolffy84 's BEs!

When do the scores go up?
Usually within 24hrs of the race.

From the help page:

Final results

Scores are usually updated the morning after the completion of each weekend of racing, however please allow up until 5:00pm AEST of each Monday following a race weekend for scores to become official, and to be processed.

All scores will be FINAL once published and based on the OFFICIAL results provided a few hours post-race, when results are added. Any future rulings, applied penalties or changes to results will NOT be retrospectively adjusted in the competition.

Feel like the key decision this round will be whether or not to go early on the Mercs knowing that there's probably one more decrease in the price cycle to come.

Equally, thanks for your service Scuderia *tips hat*
