In for a treat with Victoria on the panel and the battles with Greg will be must see television. Hopefully her husband isn’t too far away from making an appearance. Predicting that Shepparton’s own, Morgana Robinson will be a very popular member of Season 12.

Finished watching Season 8, 9 and 10 recently. Great performances by the panel show regulars in David Baddiel, Johnny Vegas and Jo Brand, especially Jo Brand’s serenade from the episode Bready, Bready, Bready which unfortunately is proving difficult to find online. Enjoyed both Rose and Mawaan from their respective seasons of the younger talent I had not seen before. As for Season 8, it is unfortunate that the competitiveness of both Iain and Lou soured an otherwise solid cast.

Hopefully I get my wish of either Paul Foot or Henning Wehn appearing in Season 13.
I actually quite enjoyed Iain's competitiveness, especially as it went on and he realised he's an asshole  Didn't actually notice it with Lou.

I think season 7 has been my favourite season so far. Season 6 was certainly the worst for mine, by a pretty fair distance as well.

Actually think a lot of the older seasons were a bit stronger but 10 and 11 are really strong and 9 has also been very good (almost finished).

Season 7 was probably my favourite until season 11 came along. James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert usually came up with very creative responses to the team tasks, but much of the creative process between the two was just arguing in a very funny way.

It appears that an Oz version of 'Hunted' may be in the works. For those that haven't seen the show:

"The UK format sees contestants who are instructed to go on the run for 25 days whilst avoiding a team of Hunters composed of former and serving police, intelligence personnel, and on-foot teams."

I've seen the UK version and found it quite interesting. I wonder how far the contestants would be allow to go? Australia is significantly larger than the UK and we have large distances between towns.

Pointless is my favourite quiz show but unfortunately it seems they have stopped airing on the ABC and best not to speak of the failed Australian attempt.
Pointless returns to Australia on free to air tv.:love:

Weekdays at 10:30am AEST on 9Gem and 2:00pm AEST on Nine.

Just saw a headline on my news feed, Denmark launches kids tv show about a man with a giant penis. I thought 2020 was a strange year. o_O
Seems like @Rowsus has a challenger for the best Danish member on these forums!

...I'll see myself out.

(You're still one of my favourites Row).

I would not worry as you are bound to catch a rerun soon enough.

Unfortunate that ABC2 do not air Never Mind The Buzzcocks episodes anymore, as I thoroughly enjoyed catching the end of the series which featured Phil Jupitus and Noel Fielding as team captains. The series started in the late 90’s and shares many similarities and was a likely a key inspiration for the various formats/rounds in Spicks and Specks.

Hopefully the upcoming UK return will be aired in Aus.

Not sure who it was that put the first Taskmaster recommendation up, but I’ve checked it out with my kids and they love it!

Good job. Solid midpricer —> possible keeper TV so far.
For those that have not seen Season 1, SBS Viceland are showing Season 1 Episode 1 tonight at 9:25pm AEST.

Finally got around to watching Fargo (TV series) and well worth the wait. Superb cast and score, with Billy Bob Thornton and Bokeem Woodbine stealing each and every scene. Finished Season 2 today and have just started Season 3. Given the series was heavily influenced by the Coen brothers film, I am a tad disappointed that Steve Buscemi was not killed at any point in the series.
