Might just log in and see how my Neale v Lyons matchup with @Quasimodo is goin.... Oh. Think you're in the box seat Mr Hunchback, with Parish and Lyons and the only one in the top 5 with no Docherty.
Sounds awesome in theory but regrettably I have CCJ on field. Yep it's pretty hard to dodge all the carnage in any given week.

Also still looking for a single VC/C to stand up for Team Quasimodo ... all remain allergic to tonning up, regardless of recent form and favourable match-up ***! :ROFLMAO:

So swings and roundabouts really and your lead may end up widening on me and others when we all log in tomorrow night. Either way it's going to be a long 7.3333333333 remaining rounds in this drawn out battle of attrition.

2363 for me. About 100 off my projection this morning, mainly thanks to sidebottom and brad crouch, but still happy enough to get that with Neale out. Fingers crossed he comes straight back in.

Hoping the number 2 team tried their luck with Flynn for one more round. If they got Grundy in I suspect my life at the top will be a short one.

EDIT traded Lloyd in for Docherty. Gee I hope I can get a couple of weeks without need to trade.

Haven't paid much attention in this format but just for this round I'm at least mixing it with the big boys with my 2342. :)

Well done on your season to date @stephen
You're a consistent performer across all format and I love how you play the game.(y)

All the best to our other top coaches, hoping one of you guys can go all the way.

Rankings slide for me as expected so now hanging by a thread in the T10. CCJ at F6 was just an insane disaster, doubly so with Weightman banging out his highest score of 95 for the season at F7 who I was flipping between all week for the start.

Also this whole VC/C thing is just getting plain ridiculous now. VC Zorko aginst the Crows who has just 2 touches at the half ***! Then bring it home with Macrae C vs Norf who fails to ton up for the first time this season. Of course I captained Bont over Macrae in SC for the double ratio whammy there. Don't think I've had a single VC/C ton up in RDT for nearly a month now.

So a familiar song sung by many a fantasy coach over the years "Oh what could've been!"

Need some advice ....

- Quite a few trades left and plan on using 2 each week for the next few rounds
- Current plan is Madden > Edwards R/F (floating donut) and Phillips > Marshall R/F
- Anyone got some better ideas ?? or an alternative playing or likely future playing player than Edwards ??
- I'll take Reeves if named BTW even if it breaks my intended swingset ...

I went the Edwards route at R3 and was hoping for CCJ to give some level of ruck cover on the run home but all that was shattered in one game on Friday night. May not see CCJ again this season - calf injury or no calf injury.

Marshall is certainly an option but is probably a little more SC relevant than DT. Also his foot has been a recurring issue although seems ok atm. Bringing in these guys who have had multiple setbacks during a single season can be a risky business as Neale owners just observed firsthand.

The upside is he's fairly cheap now and can provide ruck cover. However given all your trades I'm not sure you have to worry all that much about ruck cover. If either Grundy or Gawn misses from here I'd just swap them out for Darcy with just 7 games left.

I'll give you a heads up next time mate but I went Zorko in SC and the fact he wasn't injured is a great result given my last few efforts...

Awesome effort to date by all the guys doing well, keep it up and bring it home one of you!

Rd Rank: 1311
Overall: 142 (from 123)

Current trades:
Out: S Docherty
In: J Lloyd

Have enough cash to turn Jiath into Marshall with my last trade but unfortunately do not have a fwd/mid in the midfield to switch with the likes of Martin/Danger/Zorko later in the season to cover any injuries, which is down to poor planning.
