LACHIE Neale has left Brisbane's Tuesday morning training session holding his right shoulder.

The Brownlow medallist headed to the Gabba changerooms immediately following a quick chat to the Lions' medical team.

He was holding his right wrist to support the shoulder.

It was the same shoulder Neale injured in round 15 against Geelong when he left the field but miraculously returned to play the game out.

Neale has endured an injury-interrupted season, playing 11 of the 17 games following ankle surgery and a calf niggle.

Brisbane plays Gold Coast at the Gabba on Saturday.

Finger poised to delete app, if this is serious. What a shocking run of luck Neale is having for someone so durable in the past. Could be the end of Brisbane's run this year too.

This is from the H/Sun

"Lions star Lachie Neale has left training early with a suspected shoulder injury, just days out from Saturday’s QClash with the Gold Coast.

The 28-year-old was seen nursing his right arm after a routine training drill before walking off the Gabba field.

If confirmed to be a shoulder injury, it will be a big blow for the Lions ahead of this weekend’s game after losing key players Eric Hipwood (knee) and Marcus Adams (foot) last week.

The Brownlow medallist recently injured his right shoulder in the Lions Round 15 clash with Geelong, in which he played the game out.

He was named to play the following week, however was ruled out because of a reported calf injury."
