Another returning Premier League coach, Coach Ashley also knows what lays ahead. 2020 was a great year for the team, and he comes into 2021 with a chip on the shoulder after being demoted in 2020. Wanting to prove 2019 was just a blip on the radar, I expect big things from @Deeman1 in 2021, and also expect to see some of the new tricks he picked up last year after a poor 2019. Make no mistake… he will punish anyone foolish enough to write him off.

ROUND 23 PREVIEW: 2021 Grand Final Week
After 17 long weeks of Head-2-Head matches and 3 weeks of Finals... we've finally separated the strong from the weak with GV Vikings FFC and Diabolical Rabble overcoming all obstacles to reach the league's penultimate pinnacle. Which team will be left standing holding up the coveted SCS Premiership Cup for season 2021?
GV Vikings has not had the easy path to the Grand Final, losing 6 of 9 matches between rounds 8 & 16. At that point in Round 16, coach Ashley's team was far from a lock to finish in the top 4. But he finished off the H2H matches strongly with 3 wins to finish 10-7 and in 3rd place.
Diabolical Rabble in their first season in the Premier League, was fantastic through the H2H match rounds, finishing with a 12-5 record... and in 1st place... 2 wins above all other teams!! A truly stunning job by Coach Andrew to dominate the league through the H2H phase.
Here's each coaches Win/Loss record...
It's been a rough end to the season for most teams with a lot of injuries to key players... Both the Grand Finals coaches have had their share of them, But it is their exceptional team management throughout the season that has got them to the Big Dance... Let's see how each will line-up for the big game...
Both teams have a large number of similar players, meaning the POD's will vital. Stewart & Mills each appear to be out for this crucial match however, and Diabolical will be also sweating on the return of Lloyd, Whilst GV Vikings will regain Toby Greene from suspension. It's going to be a super close match.
PREDICTION
I'm confident that both Ashley and Andrew will put forward a performance worthy of ending the Premier League season on a high note. I find it difficult to split both these team as have both been dominent throughout the season and finals. Either team would make a worthy winner... However I'm tipping a GV Vikings FFC victory in a very close match by by 23 points.
