Competitions SCS 2024 AFL Finals Competition

Subject to team selections tomorrow night the following will be the players for the 1st game of the practice round. At this stage the rules will be identical to last year where you select one of the nine brackets for each player and one of those as players captain then score as follows;

• Correct bracket - eagle (-2)
• miss by 1 bracket - birdie (-1)
• miss by 2 brackets - par (even)
• miss by 3 brackets - bogey (+1)
• miss by 4 or more brackets - double bogey (+2)
• Score will be double for nominated captain

Depending on how it goes I might use this weekend to trial a few other options and experiment with bracket sizes before we start for real in the first week of the finals.

I would appreciate it some people could enter some selections using the link below to ensure the form works. Note that this form is restricted to those members who have expressed interest in participating. If you would like to join just post in this thread and I will add you to the list.

Entered. As it's just a practice round, I picked a few more outliers than I usually would, just as a bit of fun. Still hard to pick the extremes, I don't think I picked any of the extremes in any match, but I likely will in some later games.

Thanks gents. I have added you all now to the form so should be able to enter selections.

Note for others that it is not my intention to restrict the selection form to just those that register here however I haven't quite worked out how to allow someone to key in their user name in the form rather than just pick it form a list. I will have a closer look tonight.

Awesome work @Beg2Differ AFL finals time is often a big let down after SC finishes so it's good to have something fill the void. I can't remember which comp did it but from memory one of them ran a finals series comp a few years back. Basically picking a salary cap limited team per round with one ruck and two players from the other parts of the field
