Done the Cancelo trade for Gomez as Pool play first and I have to take a leap of faith.

Leaves $4.06m ITB. Will have to bring in Pogba, so will decide if I dump Sema or looper Holland.
Fortunately BRE play before all 3 other teams, so I can loop Canos or Mbeumo and then decide who to trade.

GW3 I can then trade out Sema or Holland, and probably Toney.
Of course, this is assuming none of my players get injured in the meantime.

Very tempted to put the vice on Cancelo, as he plays before Bruno.
Home grounds seem to make a difference though, so maybe just stick to the herd picks?
If Salah gets 15 pts, will people stick or twist?
3 days to make up my mind.

Yes, but I didn’t watch that. I watched something this week where they were discussing the round and he said no way would he be trading Canos in because of security fears. That’s from an FPL sense too. Sportal is a different kettle because I would imagine his short term security is pretty good now that he banged home their first, and he won’t be in anybody’s team for too long (probably), but thought it was worth a mention.

Last season he started 36 games and subbed in 13 times. BRE play 49 games, so I guess he played a part in all of them.
You're probably spot on. Maybe he's not worth it for FPL but good enough for Sportal. For the first few weeks, he's looking good.

I didn't check to see when he was rested, but it could have been after Cup games where they played a strong side and he was involved.
I know nothing about BRE, but my gut tells me he's definitely a 1st team player (ex-Barca and Pool junior), and will only be rested for fatigue or injury.

He (Canos) will probably make me look stupid and score every game now, but if you were picking a 5.5m mid from Brentford based upon the game against Arsenal it simply has to be Mbeumo. He could have had a hatty and was trying to get his head to the ball Norgaard headed home. I will probably get no reward for taking a punt on him, but I just thought he was brilliant.

Definitely Mbeumo ahead of Canos (hence why I have Canos on the bench for a loop in the team above).
Both had about the same goal involvements for the last season, but Mbeumo's mostly came late in the season when he was put further forward.

Given City lost and will be playing in front of their home crowd, I'm not one to bet against them.
Getting as much City as I can in various FF games, but likely only 1 for Sportal.
I will be nervous but you also need to pick the right one or 2.... And i will no doubt pick the wrong one anyway lol

To play this well, need a fair bit of dedication and a good alarm clock.
Have managed overall rankings last 4 years of 42, 427, 27 and 244 with out it, so can be done. But am aware will probably never win it without the pure dedication some have :cautious:

A few times, it's best not to change the team. Someone's not in the starting lineup so people take them out.
They sub in for a cameo and manage a goal and assist. Those that took them out are left spewing.
Those that slept through the night wake up to nothing unusual, until they see the sub.
Happened in the Euros with Meunier most recently.
But overall, it definitely is a disadvantage to not make subs and transfers after seeing lineups.

Which is why FPL is good. Locked out start of the weekend and no stress lol
Yep. Perfect level playing field, no matter where you are in the world.
They also changed the lockout time to 90 mins, cos some peeps were gaining an advantage by getting team sheets a few mins before the old 60 minute lockout.
