Wouldn't you strengthen other positions?
Anyway, early days and Bielsa might be experimenting, or injury or the RC caused that substitution.

Aiming to trade Tsimikas to Dallas whilst pocketing a few million but would appreciate if Tsimikas starts or is interchanged later on to ensure his breakeven does not continue to stay negative.

Will likely save up for a Brentford player to be upgraded to Raphinha in the midfield, much to the displeasure of Jack Harrison.

Flirted with the idea of Pepe rather than ASM, but with Townsend possibly being a rotation risk again in a few weeks, didn’t want to flirt with 2 risks.

Marcal on the back burner due to no double figure scores. Cucurella due to not being on the bubble until next week.

I went Canos to Townsend because I am a copy cat and I like the break even game and Amartey to Aarons, but wonder if I should have gone Tsimikas to aarons.

@vsberlina drew my attention to Townsend. Benefits from DCL sitting on the sidelines. He did play week 3 with DCL tho. He makes sense for my team being that I want an Everton player ahead of next weeks fixture against Norwich, particularly for captaincy. With a 23 running through his price I can’t see how you lose. If on the Gray train I get it, but for those not I think he’s an excellent choice. He’s always been a pretty good all round player in the EPL, obviously the ceiling of efforts was a bit more capped in a Newcastle and Palace jersey, and in an Everton jersey has been due to minutes and rotation. With that being solidified atm I think he’s a good punt.
