Firstly - Love your Team Name!!! (I just went boring to start and now can't change it...)
Yeah - was a tough one for choosing the Ruck. Just thought Zanker would have greater potential to score more running through the midfield. Did well last year and could take it to a new level in '22 - averaged over 70 for her last 6 games last year. If it doesn't pay off - just a trade to Pearce (or other).

And it looks like ShePlays is now open. Although you wouldn't know it from the main page of their AFLW site - still mentions last years dates.
However I can make a new team up through the team page - https://sheplays.com.au/aflw/my-team - and it states your team must be saved by 6:15pm Jan 7.
Edit - in saying that, at 1:25pm the site doesn't have any players listed to choose your team...

Hi all,
This is the team I have at the moment prior to teams being announced.
Def: Catherine Svarc, Kate Lutkins, Ashleigh Brazill, Libby Birch, Stella Reid (Lauren Magee)
Mid: Kiara Bowers, Alyce Parker, Olivia Vesely, Chloe Dalton, Charlie Rowbottom (Georgie Prespakis, Eliza West (U))
Ruc: Eden Zanker (Ally Morphett)
Fwd: Tyla Hanks, Jacqui Vogt, Tayla Harris, Aimee Schmidt, Ella Friend (Tara Bohanna)
Birch and Magee will more than likely be replaced. Couldn't fit in Schleicher with others I wanted to chose. Picked two high priced and high scorers in the mid field for captains choices (Bowers/Parker). Vesely/Dalton are a bit speculative as the missed last year and priced unders for their output the previous year (I really wanted Morrison over Dalton but was $900 short). Rowbottom and Prespakis are just must haves for cash generation - will play lots of midfield time.
@Connoisseur - Team looks great - only thing is I'm not sure if I'd have Dalton as the Utility. She scored mid forties in 2020 so may be better on field or down to a rookie. Also, as much as I love Daisy, I'm not sure how fantasy relevant she will be. Playing a forward role, scores may be up and down. If you have an extra $600 maybe change to Vesely who will get loads of midfield time with Patrikios and Smith out for the Saints.
@Vicwood - all looks good, just not sure who "Collingwood" is in the Fwd line...?. Like the mids although in my mind I want to have two Captains choices (just so I can abuse myself for not picking the right one...)
But as I said, the team could change after teams are announced. I will post up my "final" team tomorrow when I have hopefully settled on players. It will prove to be an interesting season with what I assume will be games going ahead with the possibility of teams with multiple players out due to Covid.
Interestingly ShePlays still haven't opened up for this year. Either they don't plan to or they will do it this evening or tomorrow as I seem to remember they left if VERY late last year. Good luck everyone!

@Connoisseur - I should have added a disclaimer... Take on my "recommendations" at your own risk!!! Just my opinions and thoughts...
Sorry, don't know too much about Hooker, so I suppose it's what you think she'll bring vs who you have to downgrade to. Hopefully others know more about Hooker.
With regard to Downie in the Rucks, if you have others in the mids, etc that can make up those points, it will be a good strategy. Don't think this scoring lends itself to huge scoring like Supercoach for rucks.
@Vicwood - sorry about Collingwood... I couldn't find her in my spreadsheet. I think her name got shortened when I was adjusting the Team names...
Sorry, don't know too much about Hooker, so I suppose it's what you think she'll bring vs who you have to downgrade to. Hopefully others know more about Hooker.
