I admit that I don't really follow AFLW, possibly as up until next season there was no Hawthorn team. I did see during the week though that Jasmine Fleming got drafted to the Hawks with their first pick. I know her dad would be happy - Damien Fleming (the ex Australian cricketer) is a huge Hawks fan. Hopefully she's as good at footy as her dad was at cricket!

I went to the same HS as Damien Fleming, he was 2 years ahead of me.
He exhibited his cricketing talents whilst opening the batting and bowling for our cricket team. Spent many a days watching him loft balls over our heads as we sat on the banks of the oval watching inter-school cricket matches.
I wouldn't say that I knew him as a 'friend' but followed his progress with a very keen eye.
