Players in good teams. Carlton players. Pick one or the other!
As I posted I think carton will win plenty of games this year
They have an easy draw
More referring to teams like the dogs, Dees, lions and giants who I think will play finals. Scaling for winning teams is normally how it works so basing my theory around that

Doesn’t really matter when it comes to defenders being in good teams as they normally see more of the footy (hall, Lloyd, Sicily etc)

Low downside risk at 220k. I think he’ll be hard to overlook if fit. Just needs a spike game and is a big win.

👍🏻
Think he can be a similar pick to Daniher
Not saying he’ll average 80+ and play 22 games but like you say all it takes is a couple of spike games and unlike Daniher who relies a bit more on goals I see curnow having games where he can get 20+ and kick a few goals where he’ll get the 100+ that Daniher only did 4 times. Plus he’s exciting too watch which I always find fun with players in my team. The odds of winning this game are what 1/180,000? So rather then whinge when guys like Bont (get kotd) just start them and enjoy watching footy for supercoach and for the love of the game!

At least that’s what I’m doing with my premos haha
Watching games and saying crap I wish I had Neale/titch or Gawn just start them and you won’t hate watching footy. Maybe I’m crazy but that’s what I’m doing

Mitch McGovern 27yo $256,000 FWD
At that price he is very tempting to select playing an intercept across half-back this year. "..........His ball use and speed were a feature as he rebounded from defence on multiple occasions to set up counter-attacking opportunities.........".
I looked further and found that he hasn't played a full season in the last 5 years, so I looked further:

Any saints fans got any info of Gresham. Can he make 100-150k to be a stepping stone
Back in full training now - looking ripped/fit

I’m just worried coming back from an Achilles injury it will restrict him to be up fwd for first half of the year - I can’t see him playing much onball ala round 1 & round 2 last year but I hope I’m wrong..

Hey Bermi - thank you mate, this is some great work!

Geez if he is on the 800k a year - *** are Carlton doing here, i suppose hindsight is nice but the injury signs were there. I am really fishing for options in the forward line at this stage, definitely the most uncertain line for me. Dunks is a lock, after that i'm really rotating a lot. Heeney and butters, butters is the one i prefer and will potentially start as i think will have the more friendly role. Then i've probably tried almost every player from Curnow to Gresham in price.

M.McGovern - ideal role for a stepping stone pick - but Bermi has just rolled out the alarm bells here, if he was just that little bit cheaper i'd roll the dice, 250k is just enough to make you have to adjust your structure, really doubt if its worth it. Will keep an eye on though
