Mitch McGovern 27yo $256,000 FWD
At that price he is very tempting to select playing an intercept across half-back this year. "..........His ball use and speed were a feature as he rebounded from defence on multiple occasions to set up counter-attacking opportunities.........".
I looked further and found that he hasn't played a full season in the last 5 years, so I looked further:

Thoughts on Jake Stringer as an option up forward?

Post bye average of 110 last season, priced at 93 average.

Only one score under 80 post bye as well with 3 120+ scores.

Don’t think he’ll get as many CBAs this season if the Dons are at full strength in the mids but we’ll see a bit more in the preseason what the set up might be

I am thinking to go cheap up forward. Duncan seems a no brainer. Averaged 99 last year and 103 before that but both were affected by injury scores of 10 and 61.

In terms of cheap options: Gresham the obvious one. Cogs if playing mid/fwd. Curnow should average 70s. Brodie if gets mid time. And even Xerri at expensive rookie price if he gets more ruck time (given Goldy is 33). He was the standout so far this preseason.
