Surprised we're into February and no one's been pumping a 2021 Tex-style mid-priced Key Forward for the Dimmawits/Cloke move.

For what it's worth, one of the King brothers could be fun (disclaimer, I would never do it). Feel like Naughton just goes missing too much.

With 35 trades and the boosters surely you just jump on the train if it leaves the station?

Worked ok for Tex last year with less flexibility.

Could Jack Gunston be an option as well?

Feels even harder to justify this year with all the great premo and value options available.

That said ... Jesse Hogan?

Hadn't realised he was 410k. Around the 350 mark I might have had some drunken daydreams about it at least.

Mitch Lewis? Coming off a bag of 8 in an intra-club. :p

...I'm actually semi tempted to pick him as a fun pick, but it definitely wouldn't be in SC (way too risky). Hawks seem to be playing a more direct, faster game style this preseason rather than the possession footy game style so many other clubs play. Might catch a few opposition teams off guard before they wake up to it, and one of their forwards could get off to a flyer in early rounds... although it is more likely they cop a few beltings, I know.

I'm having a hard time splitting TarThomas, Butters, Heeney and Dusty
I'm going Thomas, mainly because I pulled him in to my team late last year to finish forward line, which worked a treat! And love watching him play. Played 21 games last year too. Not sure why he missed round 20. Just hope he gets a favourable M/F split.

All 4 could be top 8 by year end excluding repurposed MIds who get dpp

Bit more premium but McKay is the one I like for this.

Oscar Allen would be the cheaper one but contingent on the Eagles actually fielding their midfield which is already getting awfully cloudy.

Jeremey Cameron is the other obvious standout to me assuming his preseason has been good. Think he's still got 95+ potential there if his body is right.
