Around 92 for 8 rounds I'm guessing
$200K: Our next level sits around the first round draft picks and blooded rookies (debuted with little initial impact). Here we start to see our first real opportunity to hit the gold threshold and/or hit blue threshold in quick time. These players need to play a significant role within their side to reach these levels. They aren't going to be lock down defenders, run with players or small forwards.
A $200K player scoring 70, 80, and 90 looks like this:

Think this setup totally relies on a playing rookie at F6 , otherwise everything else is extremely strong.

Enjoyed reading your reasonings behind your selections.
Cheers for the feedback
Yeah rd1 rookie selections could change the forwards a bit ie Dunkley down Butters and a fwd rookie up to someone with more js maybe Rachele although I'm not a fan of doing that, fingers crossed the fwd rookies get selected

Preuss needs to be picked even if on the bench imo Besides that I like your pods.
At this stage I don't see Preuss as a must pick, bad injury history and hasn't secured the number 1 ruck spot. Flynn was impressive last year and should be first considered as their first ruck. Presuss could be a 200k hole on the bench

Exactly; is it worth being $80k behind the fielded salary capacity of everyone else?

Currently have Preuss R3 but he will be straight out of there in Flynn looks to be ahead of him or playing together. Will be a nice $80k injection moving him down to Combden for an upgrade elsewhere. Definitely not a must pick by any means (but potential to be)

Any WCE experts - Does Greg Clark’s injury do anything for Chesser’s job security? Or completely irrelevant?
They play different positions -Clark is an inside mid, Chesser is a half back/wing (I see his future as a wingman). What Chesser offers is run & carry (good kick also) which is something that WCE sorely needs in my opinion. In answer to your question, it doesn't really directly do much but it may help him play round 1 depending on how WCE want to line up. For example, last year Redden & Sheed played on a wing during matches even though their natural position is playing in the centre square.
Training reports suggest that we are going to try to move the ball on quicker/ real emphasis on fast transition coming out of defence - these are things that help Chesser's prospects. Going to be very interesting watching the preseason games to see how well we have implemented this new style.

How can people have a definitive opinion about Preuss at this point? You'd be mad to have locked in a version of your side with him or without him before we see how they line up in preseason games, let alone Rd1 teams being named.

I definitely don't have a locked version of my side but all my sides don't have Preuss.

I have locked in Gawn even if Preuss is named as the sole ruck R1.

Because you assume he won't be named as sole ruck, or because you don't want him even if he is?
Both; more to the point that you'll never know what will happen 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 weeks down the line with all of GWS, Preuss and Leon Cameron. I could easily envisage a scenario where over a 6 week period, GWS runs 3 different 1st rucks, runs a solo ruck and a tandem from week to week, and all of Preuss/Briggs/Flynn get dropped/injured in turn.
