I will downgrade Cutting to Gillard and upgrade Parker to Bowers, leaving $2600 and no idea about the 3rd trade yet but will see what Friday night team announcements throw up.

R10 FIXTURE: Festival of Footy hits Victoria with finals on the line

SIX OF the seven round 10 NAB AFLW matches will be played in Victoria as part of the Footy Festival, which leads into round one of the Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

Match-ups have altered since the initial round 10 fixture was released as a result of COVID-caused changes earlier in the season.

The Western Bulldogs will have a tough task in their quest for their first finals appearance since their premiership year of 2018, taking on reigning premier Brisbane at Mars Stadium in Ballarat.

Fremantle will host Gold Coast at Fremantle Oval as the sole non-Victorian match, having spent considerable time in Melbourne and Tasmania earlier this season.

"We are thrilled to be able to update the AFLW community with the fixture for Round 10 of the 2022 NAB AFL Women’s competition, and with some big match ups which will determine the make-up of the top six, we share in the excitement of all fans in looking forward to the final round of the home-and-away season," AFL general manager of women's football Nicole Livingstone said.

"The Festival of Footy in Victoria will see a celebration for all footy fans and we look forward to cheering on AFLW and AFL teams across the 10-day period."

AFL general manager of competition management Laura Kane said health and safety remained important in the closing stages of the season.

"As the season builds towards a much anticipated NAB AFLW Finals Series, the health and safety of the community remains the highest priority for the AFL and we will continue to work closely with respective state governments and health authorities on arrangements that both protects that and allows us to progress and complete the NAB AFLW season," she said.

ADELAIDE superstar Erin Phillips will miss Saturday's blockbuster against Fremantle due to a sprained knee, while the Dockers themselves will be without fellow AFLW best and fairest Kiara Bowers and lively forward Roxy Roux.

Bowers last played on February 1, missing two games with suspension, but will sit out the Crows clash with minor knee soreness, while Roux will miss with a hamstring injury.

"Kiara tweaked her knee during a training drill earlier in the week and will therefore miss this weekend’s game against Adelaide," head of football operations and performance Bob Murphy said.

"Scans have cleared Kiara of any significant damage, which is obviously, really good news.

"Her knee is still being assessed and we will see how the knee settles before developing a return to play date early next week."

Melbourne will be boosted for its monster clash against North Melbourne by the return of midfielder Maddi Gay (quad) and winger Casey Sherriff (concussion), with Lauren Magee and Megan Fitzsimon making way.

Small forward Daisy Bateman has been dropped from North Melbourne's line-up, with defender Jasmine Ferguson returning from health and safety protocols.

Jess Duffin remains as emergency for a second week.

Dual-sport athlete Tessa Lavey will miss Richmond's match against Geelong through management, while lively draftee Emelia Yassir looks likely to miss the rest of the season, the Tigers grading her ankle injury as "medium term".

Kodi Jacques and former first-round pick Sophie Molan are the Tigers' inclusions.

Geelong has opted for a smaller line-up, recalling Laura Gardiner and Madisen Maguire in place of ruck Rene Caris and winger Zali Friswell.

With Liv Fuller also out of favour, it leaves key forward Kate Darby to shoulder the ruck load, while Liv Barber and Phoebe McWilliams remain as tall targets in attack.
