Full-Time
North
JHF: Very quiet first half. Much better in the 3rd quarter. Quiet again in the 4th. Played predominantly as a half-fwd from what I saw. Also spent time at half-back and a spent some decent time in the middle attending a few CBA's. He was probably the best of North's rookie priced players in the end. I think he will be fine as a rookie going at around 60-65 but if we have enough of the cheaper mids options show up then they could score just as well for a fraction of the price.
P Walker (124k DEF/MID): Heard his name called quite a few times, didn't have a whole lot of impact on the contest and no idea whether he is best 22. Could be a bench option if named round 1.
Bergman (117k DEF/MID): Had a few touches and did some okay things but is probably unlikely for round 1.
Curtis (117K FWD) and Goater (117K MID): Both played in the second half only and each got a few touches but the low TOG likely indicates they aren't in the frame for round 1.
T Thomas: He was really good, the best player out there for North. Staying in my team on the back of today's game.
Polec: Was terrible in the first half and not sighted in the second half, possibly only played the first half. Wouldn't have thought he's an option after today's performance.
Dees
Chandler (124k FWD): He had an excellent first half with a couple of goals and some good pressure acts. Faded a bit as the game went on. Would probably need Spargo or Pickett to miss to get a round 1 spot which is highly unlikely.
Bedford (124k FWD and Turner (124k DEF): Bedford came on very late and I don't think he got a touch. I don't think Turner played at all. Neither are a chance for round 1.
Gawn/Jackson: Gawn was in the ruck for the majority of the game and played well, even pushed forward for 2 goals. Jackson spent a decent amount of time in the ruck too but was quiet. EDIT: CBA data shows that both spent an even amount of time in the ruck. Does make sense now I think about it as Gawn spent a big portion of Q3 on the bench just resting.
Oliver/Petracca: Barely got out of 2nd gear but both looked really good, Oliver looks to have gone to another level, if that's possible. I would be quite comfortable starting both if funds permit.
