Pretty sure Hopper was out, so you'd have been watching Green.

Not sure I'll be paying that for Gibcus, tough ask with Hawkins and Cameron but they both look dangerous and Tiger defenders not even getting a hand on them at this stage

Not a whole lot to take from this match from an SC perspective so far.

You know what you’re going to get from Short, he will likely be a top 12 defender again.

Dusty is Dusty. He will score well and more than likely have a down patch where he can get picked up at a cheaper price, if needed.

SDK looks as though he has the JS but he will be a slow burn and you would want him to be on your bench only. At least he’s cheap.

Ralphsmith poor first quarter but much better in the second. Is he worth the inflated price? JS and role issues with no Rioli today?

Dow would be very fringe best 22 especially with the likes of Cotchin, Lambert and Graham missing today who are walk-up starts.

Gibcus possibly misses when Grimes returns plus doesn’t look as though he’s worth the inflated price.

The rest of the cheapies haven’t got on the park yet so don’t look as though they will be round 1 options.
