I'd argue it would be crazy to not have him very strongly under consideration.

The role he's playing is a solid 85+ role with significantly higher upside, at his price that's outstanding. Keeper isn't impossible.
Please tell me he isn't injured ... read some weird stuff about them playing a player short in the last quarter ...

Start again

Dunkley * , Heeney , Butters , Coniglio * , McGovern , Curnow

I gather the consensus would be that Rachele is too expensive to start on the bench.

Does Rachele have better JS & scoring than Ward , D Stephens , Erasmus , Hobbs etc so is he a onfield midfield option ?

Durdin & Maginness or any < $124k players that are actually named Round 1 ?

Rachele definitely has the JS over those other guys but I'm not sure hes going to have the scoring potential to justify paying 184K, would be all over him 60k cheaper.

Seemingly has better JS than most rookies but yes probably too expensive as a (solid) bench option if he is only scoring 40-50's.

Not sure how much he needs to average to make the magic $ 150k profit , closer to 70-75 I am thinking.

Think I better have a very strong F7 & F8 , my F1-F6 could break at any round 🤔

McGovern needs to just about average 80 to even be a successful right?
Feels like danger zone big time.

If Brodie keeps the inside mid role I think he seems safer

Can't fit all these forwards in...
Dunkley
English/Treloar/Heeney/Butters
Cogs/McGovern/Brodie

Stranger things have happened, look at Hall last year, his durability was pretty poor.
Yeah but Hall went into a bruise free role which was the big difference, Gov may also see less body contact in the floating intercept role although I suspect there will be occasions when he'll be crunched. But agree, it's a hard one with Gov for me at this stage

Add a few more to that list, Dusty, Thomas, Sidebum, Duncan as an upgrade target, plus the potential DPP's in Marshall and Zorko.

McGovern did just score 100 with 62% game time, just sayin'

Seems like there are a plethora of options in the FWD line.

What are our thoughts on Zac Bailey. Looks to be getting the mid mins and CBA’s.

Not the same price but feel far more comfortable with Bailey in my lineup than say Rayner.

I want McGovern in my side but irs going to take a re-jig. (Also it would be nice to hear confirmation that he isnt injured) Oh well. See how the rest of the round goes. I have heeney but I'm not convinced he scores better as a mid rather than a forward.

I think 70-75 with the odd spike score still makes 150k in the end, has alot better job and role security than Brodie aswell.

So have we seen enough from McGovern?

Amazing 3 quarters with a really strong role, but surely we need to see more than that?

So I missed a lot of the Swans game, regardng Heeney, was he played mainly in the middle or still a high fwd rotation?
