Haven't seen too many mentioning starting Jelly, @Connoisseur about the only one. Massive score.
Started him more than once including last year, and he has been a below par selection so won’t go there this year. However no doubt one year he will put together an ultrapremo season and I will be disappointing to miss the ride because I love him as a player.

Based on a scenario that suggests that their may not be an abundance of low priced rookies (high priced rookies seem to be plentiful) a lot of the teams I have seen are going to have a serious adjustment of uber premiums and include a higher assortment of mid price options
Have no choice but to completely change strategies

Cripps is going to become a very popular selection I reckon. 200k saving from an uber down to him just there.

Not sure i agree here - he firmed for me to find the $$ for him at R3 - he passed the eye test to me and he is cheaper than ralphsmith. I can't see him being anything worse that a good cash cow. How many rookie priced players have a genuine ceiling of 150 plus if they put it together?

Hogan maybe a thing for his JS but if named he is in my team

Clear 2nd Ruck 2 games in a row in a side that will likely only play one Ruck, ceiling doesnt matter if hes in the VFL.

why do you say they are likely to play 1 ruck? didn't they play 2 rucks nearly all last year? team sheets will tell but nothing about the ruck share today made me think he was hard to pick. As an R3 with a high ceiling i think he is a great option

If he gets named are you picking him on the back of that performance?

Because they have Hogan,Riccardi and Himmelberg, I'd be very surprised if they play all 5 and Cameron has said they are fighting for a spot multiple times now.

I think Pruess if given regular games can be one of the better cash generation options. He was in my side prior to the Community Series but now with the need to bring in Rachele/Ward types the easiest way to find that cash without compromising on field structures is Pruess down to Hayes.

If a couple more 117k rookies are found (I think Goater for us is a big chance to play Rd 1 so will be watching keenly this arvo) then I’ll probably bring Pruess back to R3 but at this stage might have to start without him.
