I really wish we'd kept him. He would've been great depth, especially after CEY getting the boot, but we had a massive list squeeze last year. I really hope he gets a second chance with you guys - he was the star in our reserves last year.

Well, to be honest I hope he doesn't get a second chance and we pick him up next year, but that seems a lot less likely.

I think so - the fact they gave him contract extension so early is a good sign aswell

I'm liking this post purely to encourage others to make bad decisions.

This time last year Isaac Cumming hadn’t had a kick in his career.
First round draft pick who is at a slightly discounted starting price due to playing 6 games. The last which was wrecked by a shoulder injury and he was never sighted again.

It might work out, and it might not.
I’d rather see him getting a kick so he can be considered, than not.

I get the feeling Mathieson and him were competing for a single spot, and Matho was willing to lock in a two year contract on not much relatively early on because he loves living in Brisbane. Both can get a lot of the ball, both are pretty vanilla beyond that, and both aren't going to threaten grabbing a place in our midfield.

Hopefully it ends up like Keays did for Adelaide - we can't play these guys where they should be, so they should make the most of their second chances.

inside midfielder as a junior. At NEAFL was ave for disposals, CP, and clearance however became attacking mid and above ave for goals and elite for score assists and involvements.

East Fremantle boy, ran at 80% contested possession when playing colts in 2018.

2019 NEAFL 17.6 possession ave, 46% CP and loved 3 hugs per game. 73% DE.

Dont have anything more recent.
