I have a similar setup but my value based fade compared to you was Oliver—>Cripps
Heeney is the other one that I’m questioning whether he should become McGovern to free up the cash needed elsewhere
Can any Freo fans help me understand why Crowden went to 22 CBAs? Just the 10 touches and 43 points, surely he makes way out of the middle and if anything it increases Brodie's CBAs or is he just a placeholder for Fyfe so Fremantle could give correct mid minutes for everyone today?

My take is he's in there as the defensive guy primarily as all of Brodie, Mundy, Brayshaw and Serong are better utilised as ball winners. Basically provides the balance, he's also a left footer which creates angles they otherwise lack, especially as that group of 4 are all fairly relatively one footed.
Was the same last week so will be interesting to see how many he gets in the real stuff but that would be my explanation.
I think Dusty plays it primarily because he's not sacrificing too much scoreboard impact by doing it and they don't have to cover for his complete lack of defensive work in the process.
Dusty is still like other mismatch midfielders where he kicks more goals playing midfield than he does as a forward and has far more attacking impact but not having to have guys like Lambert sacrifice run to cover for him as a midfielder provides more overall balance with him forward.
Guys like Bont, Danger and Petracca, who are all a fair bit harder working defensively are just flat out better as mids as they don't have that relatively "hidden" aspect with their numbers.
Why hasn't there been more talk about Luke Ryan? Has he had an interruped pre-season, or are there just better options? Averaged 107 in 2020 and Freo have an easy run to start the year.
