The Will Brodie situation probably needs to be carefully monitored. Not going to lie, I rate him so highly, I strongly considered starting him 2 years ago at $400k+, unfortunately he just never received the midfield minutes to become a true premium (his SC per minute ratio rivalled the best midfielders in the comp).
2 years later he's just over 200k with forward eligibility...
If he get any decent midfield role he will easily justify his price tag IMO.
Currently, it appears that their primary midfield rotation consists of (1) Fyfe (2) Mundy (3) Brayshaw (4) Serong. With Fyfe playing some forward minutes and Mundy having marginally less game time in general given his age, surely they can fit in a part-time midfielder in Brodie? Could be something like Brayshaw 80% TOG (60% inside mid - 20% wing), Fyfe 80% TOG (60% inside mid - 20% forward), Mundy 70% TOG (70% inside mid), Serong 75% TOG (75% inside mid).
This leaves Brodie with potentially 70% TOG (45% inside mid, 25% somewhere else). Is this achievable?
Any thoughts/insight Freo supporters can provide?

Top centre bounce attendees
Serong 71%
Darcy 70%
Fyfe 67%
Mundy 65%
Brayshaw 61%
Meek 55%
Cerra 46%
Justin Longmuir clearly favoured a restricted centre bounce group in 2021. If that continues into this season then we can expect a big role change or debut season for one or two players at Freo in 2022. That’s because Adam Cerra has moved to the promised land at Carlton and his 46% CBAs have to go somewhere. It’s also likely that Fyfe will have a delayed start to the year and Mundy isn’t getting any younger.
In my mind, the two main candidates to fill the holes are Darcy Tucker or new-face Will Brodie. The other options, and potential cash-cows, would be the untried Luke Valente (if he does actually exist), Nathan O’Driscoll, or 2021 draftees Neil Erasmus and Matt Johnson. Or could Blake Acres or Connor Blakely finally show that they are quality AFL players and not just fantasy teases?
