Thanks everyone for joining - just done a quick catch up today, we have 71 members in the group! This means there will be at least some form of play-in, how many people are subjected to it depends on how many more people roll up.

Additionally, @Beast_Mode has posted here but not joined the group, and two teams, named "ST JAMES FC" and "Spannerheads" are not linked to an account here. If not claimed I'll just shift them out at some later date.
71! Great work so far.

I'd love to see 128 @mike89 though it might be a stretch. Means we'd have a real grand-slam on our hands and your seeding idea would be a great touch 👍

Given the other comps are getting quite a few new entries I figured I'd bump and get a few more eyes on this - drops off the first page quickly in pre-season!

We currently number 82, so there's plenty of room before we get to 128 - it doesn't need 128 to start but that's the maximum capacity.

I know what you mean, there's posts from today that aren't even on the first page any more! Lots of reading to do tonight before bed. People who have two comps running probably doesn't help things. :)

Alright, closing entries there at 85. Great turnout!

This year I've compiled all entries into a bracket on a site called Challonge, which I've been using for gaming tournaments for several years. I don't love the interface for the bracket, but I do love the way it displays results (which will become apparent as results actually occur). The bracket can be found here. Let me know if it doesn't display, but I don't believe you need an account to view it.

Incidentally, a group size of 85 means almost exactly half the group have a play-in match. I decided to completely randomise it, so there was no seeding from last year - as a result, the defending champion is playing in! After every round I will post the bracket again with that round's results in it.

Good luck everyone!

Probably the only time I'll be #1! I'll probably get off to a fast start then get knocked out early on like last year seeing I avoid the play-ins.

Bit harsh winning last year and not even getting a freebie to round 2 😢 #guttered; surely could have at least seeded the top 16 last year 🥲

I do like the interface, thanks for organising @mike89
