I see a lot of 'Macrae VC' in scores - we all dunkin donuts?
I forgot to pick Gibcus last night so I have to run a donut on the defence bench 😥 Still going to hold the course and go with Captian Touk I would hope against the injured Eagles he would go well 🤞

Word of advice, try not to compare your score to those posted on here as you'll more than likely be in for a very miserable season.
Firstly, there's a vast number of great coaches who frequent this site. Secondly, the majority of 'early' scores posted are generally at the higher end of the spectrum.

Allow me to provide you with some comfort in your score, I'm currently on 4/391 from Gawn, Oliver, Dunkley & McGovern. (y)
Yeah, people are much more likely to post their good scores. I try to make it a habit to report my score either way, given the time. Reminds me that a lot of it isn’t in my control - overall trying to be more balanced in life. Slowly, slowly.

North Melb.
I like it too.
Instinctively it feels wrong to bring SDK to forward line given dearth of def bench rookies, but without being able to fiddle with alternatives Hewitt seems a decent option.
This is why I love this page! Thanks for the help last night with fitting Hewitt into my team! Only 1 round in and a long way to go but happy with the decision so far!

I think taking a FD for potentially 30pts round 1 is crazy, that 30 pt advantage is lost so quickly if you need a playing bench rookie later not to mention potentially another $150k you're behind in upgrades
I’m basically replacing my worst performing rookie for a FD. If there’s any rookie that is going to make 150k that I don’t already have I will trade them in prior to price changes.

Fair enough, but it is not just Round 1 under consideration for VC and C looping. The gain in Round 1 may only be 30 points, but it could be 100 points next week if your VC scores well again and your C gets injured in the first quarter.

I'm not going to argue with you, but my point is there is more to consider than one round.

The other consideration is how good the alternatives are? Dixon and Hayes with scoring and JS don't overly fill me with confidence and if they do come out and blitz it and look like must haves then I'm happy to 'correct' at a later date.

I see both views, basically for me I'm sure I'll end up with a FD soon enough and one thing I know for certain is that I've got more chance of generating cash out of a Hayes or Dixon then I do out of a FD.

Definitely see both points of view though, 👌

Jake Lloyd being out set off a chain reaction with that extra 50K down to Ridley...

Hewett, McGovern and Berry became Gibcus, Durdin and Miller (also allowed me to get McCartin on-field)... not sure how I feel about that just yet but a big game from Touk and quiet game from Berry would certainly make me feel better.

Although Rowell could become Berry, to allow Ridley up to Crisp... nervous times ahead!

I'm addition, it allows you to loop your 2 weakest rookies for ++points.

So what is everyone doing about Xerri? Played #1 ruck pre season, now team sheets dictate otherwise, or does North play funny buggas with team sheets traditionally and he should be lining up in the centre of the first bounce, north fans?
I'm picking him on field and dropping Rachele altogether.
I'm doing a reverse pod by not picking Rachele, if it goes balls up I can do a correction trade.
I can't see Rachele kicking 3 goals every week and I think he will get some attention.
If Xerri plays some ruck time he can score 80+ imo.
