Strategy 2022: Round 2 Trades

I agree with you I should clarify that I meant as a round 2 trade more than anything would be hasty to trade now. I'm not saying definitely trade out Gawn but think it is an interesting thought to entertain if someone wanted to restructure because they felt Ward M8 or Hinge D5 was leaving them exposed.
I think Rowell was out injured for much of the time Greenwood was at the suns so he has taken his spot at the centre bounces. Without looking at the stats, the main 4 combo I saw at the centre bounces were Witts/Miller/Rowell/Anderson. Chol gave Witts a chopout on occasions in the centre bounces, saw Davies in there a few times but didn't notice anyone else sorry.
Davies seemed to play mainly a high half fwd role that would push up into midfield for the stoppages/throw ins hence my reference to the Greenwood role. Certainly not afraid to throw his body around/ good size helps him in those contested footy situations.

Mine says Steele out for Rowell 
Mine says Gawn for Hayes
An injured player or a dud rookie would be better sacrifices but what if everyone is doing their role and I don't have Rowell?

Stuart Dew suggested in the pre-season that Davies could fill the role vacated by Hugh Greenwood, and he was certainly proved right on Sunday.
Playing just his second game of AFL footy, it wasn’t the weight of touches, but more so the way Davies used the footy that should see him locked in for the near future.
He only had 12 touches, but 10 of those were contested in his 70 per cent time on ground.
The 20-year-old also had numerous important and clean touches in the final term as Gold Coast stepped up, highlighting his composure with ball in hand.
