Cripps looks lighter (and aerobically fitter), he's got 15 and 20 uncontested possessions in his 2 matches as well as 10 and 12 score involvements so he's linking up in possession/scoring chains more than in recent years.

The last time he got 15+ uncontested possessions in consecutive matches was in 2018, his career-best season (119.4).

You know, if McGovern would go a whole lot better if he spent as much time on his game as he does on sooking to the umps like it's last year.

5/700 (Macrae). 8 prems + Rowell, Berry, Cogs/Brodie/Xerri and 4 rooks to come. Another 2200 on the cards, I hope.

Parish $621,300

$621,300 x 3 / 5,200 - 99 - X = BE is 260 - this weeks score.

As an owner, anything under 110 would put a target on his back. Especially as Brisbane traditionally give up decent Mid scores!
That's a $160k-odd back into the bank too. Well worth the trade if you think Essendon and Parish are likely to underperform.

Was at a work event tonight but all I saw was Cripps score going up every refresh I made. *** quickly becoming an anti-POD.
I backtracked late on and didn't VC Macrae. Those were the negatives.

The positive was another good game by Hewett. And glad I missed the McGovern and Durdin trains...for now anyways...!

There were 15 players score higher than Macrae (133) last week.
3 of those might have been decent VC/C options.
Petracca 163
Neale 140
Miller 137
Hi @Rowsus. I would not really consider the scores of Miller and Neale as leaking points. Petracca agreed. I would also consider Danger. But apart from Touk I am not sure that many people went for Petracca and Neale but I don't have the % so I could be wrong. Touk played last so he offered a lot of VC loop options for those that had him and wanted him as C. Neale I would not have thought was in a good spot to be C but Neale into Touk would have been handy.

On another note I still look at your post from Feb 2021 regarding getting the C pick right and the top 5 scorers on a number of occasions both during last season and before the start of this season re picking my team.

Petracca was an option for those going him and beat him soundly.

Danger and Rowell smashed him but anyone who captained them probably was more lucky that good.

Neale and Miller both very strong options that beat him.

This week Cripps has already beaten him soundly and given that the Cripps/Rowell combination would almost certainly be the most common reason that people didn't start Macrae it's a very relevant one to beat him.

From your wording I get the opinion that you think leaking means significant points, for mine a leak is more a small thing than large, so probably shapes things a bit as well!

Either way, for me personally not starting Macrae has been a big win through 10 games!

Long season though and one of the major positives of Macrae is that you can have confidence that he's still producing in round 22! Albeit I'd be hoping he's been producing in my side for something like 16 of those rounds :)

Should be at the top of restructure lists for those like myself who don’t have him. If he was getting a pure stopper role at all this season, it was likely to happen tonight.
The coach said after the game, Hewett put attention into the Bont in the third quarter. Think he will play defensive when required but that shouldn’t effect his score average much.
