Dropped. Sounded like a reward from the come back and now through the seconds.

Seems really dumb but that's Adelaide for you.
To be fair, Milera was terrible and deserved to be dropped. His defensive efforts in the first half were some of the worst I've ever seen in an AFL game, especially a game that was live, it was the kind of efforts when you're 150 up or down. Just absolutely dogged the coach and his teammates.

I'd have been highlighting it in the film session as the an absolutely unacceptable standard and telling him he's playing reserves until he gets his attitude right because it was pathetic and that was a neutral fan!

Awkward one to hold, he'll be back if he can stay fit because they need him to deliver on his talent but also a chance he doesn't get back from fitness and it could be a few weeks and he's so expensive to hold.

OK, so Preuss not getting named has meant I've caved and used my 1st trade (Preuss to Hayes). Not certain he's worth it, but can't justify waiting another week with over $200k sitting on my ruck bench doing nothing.

REEEEEALLY want to pull the trigger on another trade (3 trades isn't going to be enough for next week :LOL:), but not sure any are worth trading out yet. Was considering trading Berry to one of:

- Bring in either Lipinski or McDonald (love both options as either high scoring cash cows or eventual keepers), OR
- Bring in either Caldwell or Gresham (not as keen here, but their initial scores bode well for some cash gen)

I know Berry is going to be troublesome with his shoulder, but now with Fyfe out for a month or so, I'm guessing he's worth holding (?)

Hough out is somewhat fortunate, as it means I can get Stephens' 95 on field. What's the latest with Hough? I know he's listed as a "COVID out", but do we think he'll get his place back in the team next week?

Any thoughts on the above rantings welcome.

If Hough is not back next week at least you have a floating doughnut option.

Thoughts on Berry to Xerri?

1. Release $60.3k;
2. Concern about Berry’s shoulder, possibly resulting in a low score this round (score range 40-70);
3. Xerri potentially beats up on a depleted WCE (score range 80-100);
4. Opens up M/F DPP link now.

Unfortunately am $10k short of Soligo to Xerri.

Maybe it's too early in the morning , but as a Berry owner myself I am curious as to how Fyfe's absence affects Berry's shoulder ? 🤔

Any takes on Soligo?
Was he really that bad?
Wondering if need to correct him to a Maguinness or Rachele with better js.

Lucky to have Cripps, Hewett and Rowell already in my team so no need to chase them.

However with Preuss and Dixon at R2 and R3, I required a sacrificial lamb to fix the issue.
Treloar to Xerri, then Preuss to Witts. with 204k change for a upgrade next week.

Bad timing to bring in Witts up against Gawn and Luke Jackson this week, but with Touk and Rowell to win his hitouts, Witts will hopefully be able to create some handy funds over the next few weeks.

Keeping a close eye on Lipinski and Sicily today.
Going to be a strange year for Supercoach, have to chase the early value.

Whilst I agree I don't think going early on Skinner is a terrible move, not a kid like most other rookies and that role is his to lose for at least a month.
Yeah but injuries don't discriminate either and I'm always a little gun shy as I've been done more than once. I remember one year I had to trade on a Thursday a rookie in for whatever reason and the rookie picked up an LTI on the Friday training and that was before you could reverse trades.

very tempted to pull the trigger on Crisp > Hall this week, will have to wait though as I don't want to use a trade boost yet.

Considering trading Berry & Ward to McDonald & Rowell, so that I can potentially bring in Hewett and Cripps next week. I'm not sure whether its a knee-jerk move that will see me burn through trades, or a necessary move to avoid missing the bus. I might hold tight, wait until next week and possibly take two of Rowell, Cripps and Hewett.

WHOOPS!!! :LOL::LOL::LOL:

Was thinking of Brodie when I mentioned the Fyfe thing (YES, it WAS too early in the morning).

Still doesn't bring me any closer to a decision on the Berry issue though ... any thoughts on whether one of the above trades is justified?

Don't really have a way if trading in Hayes without making him an F6 which would make brodie a M8 as I have to dpp and trade him for owies or ward. Owies is allowing me to take Stephens score.

Should I use Dixon being out as a way of getting Hayes in?
