WHOOPS!!! :LOL::LOL::LOL:

Was thinking of Brodie when I mentioned the Fyfe thing (YES, it WAS too early in the morning).

Still doesn't bring me any closer to a decision on the Berry issue though ... any thoughts on whether one of the above trades is justified?
I'm giving Berry 1 more week, if he underperforms then next week he is going to cripps. He did look good in the first half, was on 50-60ish at half time from memory so potential is there.

Personally I am waiting for a round to see which players back up their Round 1 scores before doing any trades.

Hard to tell if Lipinski , McDonald , Gresham , Caldwell will be keepers after 1 game so you then may have to use another trade (s) in any case.

Didn't quite understand people starting Preuss initially when their were no guarantees he would be named Round 2.

Plenty of others are seemingly using trades this round so who knows what the right approach is

Last man in is first man out after being dropped and reports that 10-15 games is a win for him.

Milera to Skinner gives me no donut in def this week, some cash ITB and from all reports some JS while allir is out at least.

Don't really have a way if trading in Hayes without making him an F6 which would make brodie a M8 as I have to dpp and trade him for owies or ward. Owies is allowing me to take Stephens score.

Should I use Dixon being out as a way of getting Hayes in?
Bump hehe.

So are gonna start saying gawn 2 weeks in a row 90 scores is okay and he always starts poorly. I don't know what to do with him now. If he ends up averaging 105-110 that is such a rip off for 657k.
Really wish I backed my own gut and traded him this week

I guess I have gone against accepted wisdom by making 2 trades this round:
  • Traded Dustin Martin - Nic Martin (Generate some cash)
  • Traded Pruess - Marshall as a last minute decision today
Pruess is a lot of cash to have sitting on the bench and if I am going to trade another Ruck in I might as well have the score for as long as possible.

Earlier in the round I swapped Hayes into the Ruck for English in the forwards.

This leaves my Rucks as Grundy (R14), Marshall (R12) & Hayes (R12) with a link into the forwards for English (R13)

That allows McGovern - Cripps next round

Just the one R2 trade for me. Wasn't planning on trading this week, but with Freo yet to have their own covid cluster and Xerri rucking against WAFL rucks seemed like a no brainer corrective trade. 372k bank for an early upgrade in Rd3.

Chapman > Xerri
Bank 372k
