Whitfield is supposedly an elite kick but they don’t use him going out of defence, the main reason I’m getting rid of him, Richmond give it to Short whenever they can
His best position is the wing where he can make the most of his endurance and still try to avoid impact to his frail body. They already have enough good kicks off half back so he's not needed there.

He is but I can see him averaging 90ish and being a decent D6 stepping stone till the byes. Probably a better chance of keeping it going long term than Bowey but comes at a higher cost. Definitely worth considering at least.
Crunch the numbers, in order for him to generate enough cash to be a worthwhile stepping stone he'll need to average enough to make him a keeper

First Riddler now Whitfield, I wish I had Hall instead urgh!
When you watch them play, you can see there is something not right. With riddle's I think it is role related and possibly external to footy. Whitfield I don't know but already carrying his injury risk and get cash and points loss on top is not acceptable.

Getting the cash is the question. Tossing up Steel to Cripps,. Mcgov to Heeney and Whitfield to hall. Seems like a lot of sideways trading though.

90 average would see him get to about 450k by the byes for a 120k profit. That's definitely a win in my book. Not a must have, but worth considering for anyone looking to free up some cash by offloading someone like Whitfield.
