JS is still a concern for Hayes
Darcy out early doors was such a blessing for people who then jumped on Marshall.
Having Hayes as well to cover him is now a great comfort and bonus.
Almost makes Gawn to Marshall tempting.

That is concerning... that's NN TOG % type numbers

Didn't catch most of the 2nd half of the Ade/Freo game, was the game being played on the opposite wing to the interchange bench for an extended period of time or no goals kicked for while hence making it hard for Brodie to come back on?

Just looking for any other reason as to why such a low TOG other than his lack of endurance

My recollection was that he came on (after Rachele kicked his 5th) for a stint of 8-10mins then came off and never back on again. Someone posted earlier that he was wanting to come back on when the play was on the wing but the Freo players just ignored him (I didn't notice this myself). Another 3 goals were scored after this so he had a chance to be rotated back on but didn't for whatever reason.
I feel that his lack of fitness or ability to play more than 65% game time is real which is concerning for someone of his ilk. In hindsight, I should've given this more weighting when considering him as the sign were present in their AAMI hit out, 67%TOG, lowest of their midfield group.

With that says, if he's a required member of the 22 and he can string together 70-80 off that limited TOG% then all is not lost. Just means that his capacity to rise in $$$ is limited, there's always the hope that he has a spike game or two to o***et his lack of TOG.

He's a definite week to week watch for mine.

The positive is he's basically an injury from forced rotations getting him a big score and the Dockers have a LOT of injury prone guys so it's a real chance.

He played terrifically while he was out there but the TOG is a serious issue, you need to be basically perfect in that amount of time.

I was just thinking about this first issue.

I seem to recall a Freo rookie in 2020 getting a great score off the back of mid injuries that gave him a great role for a particular game.

I actually still remember where I was when it happened, I think because I’d just traded him out and was cursing my luck!

Possibly outsmarted myself depending on what Hayes & Xerri do today.

Currently

F1-4 Dunkley * , Heeney , Butters , Coniglio *

McGovern , Curnow / Durdin , Long * with Brodie M6

If Hayes & Xerri both look must haves not sure which way to go , especially if Martin looks viable to bring in Round 4.

Yeah - he could've been one of the most popular picks with a slightly different looking pre-season
He was one of my 1st picked until I saw what Noble was doing with him. Same with Heeney but should have backed my gut knowing that Buddy back in helps him score better.

@Ironhawk

Is Dylan Moore the one you have been talking up the last few seasons ? Just seen he is currently 12th on aggregate for F eligible players so far.

Kicking myself that I didn't stick with D Rioli (currently 11th)

Geez if the Bont gets F/M status the Bulldogs could end up with 4 of the Top 8

I am a fan and I've mentioned him a few times. I did pick him in lock and load this year, but that's one where I chose a lot of players not in my team I thought may do well. I also started him last year in SC as a POD, but sold him a bit early in one of many stupid trades - he ended up making $150K+ last year.

He has definitely improved over the last couple of years, going from almost losing a spot on the list, to being a 100% lock in the team and I think he's a good chance to maintain an 85-90 average. His current 95.7 average is probably unsustainable based on similar small forwards / past history, but he does get a lot of low 100+ scores (5 between Rd 11 and Rd 21 last year, 1 this year). He has thrown in bad scores as well at times previously, but the Hawks have a style which should suit him more this year, so hopefully he's over that. There's worse picks for $435K, but probably better choices too.

Thanks for the insights , enjoy looking at different players so might track how his season continues on.

Depending on who gets DPP additions that Forward line is already starting to look very crowded for options , couple of fallen premiums already on the watch list.
