It's because scaling is a black box.
Macrae, the dogs ended up winning, so the action is scaled less impactful than Rachele where the game did change, so was ranked more impactful.
Unfortunately Champion Data will never reveal the scaling secret sauce as that's their hard earned IP.
Every year there are these oddities. I agree, they both should get similar outcomes but computer says no
But, his 50 didn't result in a goal and Adelaide ended up winning. Very similar scenario really..

Don't disagree with the whole secret scaling, but they were very similar incidents.

Thanks @Darkie. What do you reckon about my other conundrum - post above that one. Hewett was definitely coming in before the stuff up with Rachelle. Is Hewitt a must have? I guess it's only one round the structure will be a mess - but I've already traded Gawn so it seems I should complete the plan despite the structure benching Whitfield and missing Martin's E points.

Any opinions on this @wogitalia ?
I liked Hewett enough to pick him but I've picked him and still believe he's more D6 than D1, you picking him for a 95 average which is D6 level, imo, anything more is bonus but not what I'd anticipate.

What I will say with Hewett is that he's a very strong handcuff if you have Cripps, if Cripps gets injured then Hewett is the single biggest benefactor and that 95 projection quickly moves 105 and a genuine D1 level scorer so if you have Cripps I'd be more inclined to pick Hewett.

I don't think Butters is a guy to be restructuring and changing plans, he had one really bad game, one great game and one very good game, his role is fine. Barring a LTI you just flat out shouldn't be trading him, he's a keeper and he's so far looked a keeper. Even if he's suspended or misses a week, you shouldn't trade him.

Assuming you formulated the trade plans with a legitimate end goal, then you shouldn't be changing them.

Very harsh on Butters mate.
Plays hard but is not a sniper
Not saying he's a sniper but that play was a snipe, Keays was playing the ball with his head over it and Butters lined him up from a solid 5 steps away with no other intention than bumping. I love the way he plays but last night he definitely went past the line and was out of control early in the 4th, thought Ken was very smart to bench him for a few minutes to cool down because he was on a warpath to suspension or injury the way he was playing. I love Butters, I picked him in large part because he's one of my favourites and he's not a dirty player at all but that wasn't a good act by him and he'll be very lucky if he's not suspended. FWIW, that act was out of character, he's normally a very fair player at the ball.

Paul Kelly was my favourite player as a kid and is a major reason I'm a Swans fan and he's actually the player I think Butters most resembles and for me that's one of the highest compliments I can play. Kelly could also get a little too deep into his white line fever as well, I wouldn't change it about either player for one second :)

I still find the AFL deciding to sacrifice Saturday morning to the NBA a really weird move so that they could make the Friday/Saturday night games overlap and lose a ton of viewers that way as well.

I don't think I'll ever understand why they want to punish their most dedicated fans and cost themselves viewers, it just seems so counter-intuitive.

Thanks mate. I was only considering a Butters trade if he was a LTI. I didn't see the incident. Thanks for your advice on Hewitt.
