That game was exactly what I expected to see more of from Hall last year. Regularly kicked straight to the opposition under no pressure, couldn't get near an opponent and just generally seemed unsure what this defending this is about. I also hope no one traded McDonald in, yikes.

Gee Stewart owners (like me) are entitled to be a little miffed with 104 I would think. Without him in the first 3 quarters Geelong aren’t in striking distance and then his efforts get scaled down because the ball is in the Geelong forward line the whole last quarter.

As good as Stewart was in the big moments the way he plays hes always only a turnover off costing the side a goal, which happened 2 or 3 times tonight, was pretty fairly scored for mine.

Played a different role, as simple as that.
Some days he will play the "Woohoo, McD 130!!!" role, and some days it will be the "***, McD 40!!!!" role.
The decision is, which role will be more prevelant!!!

17/1481 - big drop in the ranks coming from 10k mark.

Hall, Touk, Stephens on field over JHF (40 points), Crisp all well below.

Hard to judge the Gawn/Whitfield trade out on one week. I expected they did have easier games yet Whitfield wasn't inspiring and Gawn would normally be 20-25pts higher in game like this (where he is expected to dominate, Jackson to erode on tougher weeks). Positive is if I didn't go Gawn then Skinner was coming for Chapman and he looks like he may miss a game.

Hewett/Heeney always coming in, extra premium in - Hall (for Gawn) really hurt with his score. Hopefully Preuss in next week over a Hayes (who some are using fwd) creates some benefit.

Hopefully C on Cripps does better than the Neale VC.
