Oh sorry, I misunderstood. No, Stephens is definitely not a must-have.

I think Davies to Heeney or English makes sense for you (I prefer English).

I'd probably hold after that. Maybe look to do Maginness to Preuss next week if he is still going well.
yep thank you, and what about xerri?

Personally don't think he's worth the trade in at his current price. Think 400k is about the best we can sensibly hope for him to get to, which would be a 120k gain. Given you have the cash to get Maginness to him in one trade, it might make sense for you if Maginness is dropped. But just on the wrong side of borderline IMHO.

If I go Davies to Heeney, I cannot go Maginness to Xerri in one trade...

My original team
I don't have stephens or xerri so wondering if both are must haves...The only reason i pondered trading for mead is for cash
Stephens scored 23 and at risk of being dropped with McInereny to return. Wouldn't call that a must have. I'm afraid you've missed the boat on both Stephens & Xerri.

I think your best trade would be Maginess to one of English/Heeney and swing Rachele to your mid bench. Just the 1 trade will do. Davies to Dow could be a second option.

Don't trade for the sake of trading. Would hold the boost.

I've done both trades except I require a dpp base pricer in the form of luke nankervis or ned long instead of hugh dixon...I'm willing to do this if this means luke nankervis is my loophole option for the entire year, which I believe so

Aggressive (very aggressive) but not irrational trades IMO. Team looks great.
They're very aggressive and not sure if it's the right strategy given i can still get more cash out of the rookies.
Its the highest i've been ranked in the first few rounds so really wanted to put the foot down but also give myself a chance at the back end of the comp
Honestly I'd trade preuss to martin via english...Hayes will be a lost cause after a couple rounds so you can get another look at preuss. Tom Green is a bold bold move and is a good short term investment...Honestly I'd have traded Marshall to Witts for the cash then gone from Green to an uber premo if that makes sense. But this is only my 3rd or 4th year playing this game so feel free to prioritise others' comments before mine
I started preuss, no point trading him out now
Hayes i believe is already a lost cause he will be stuck on the bench and won't be getting on field unless there is a disaster
It is also my 3rd year and haven't started this well before and am open to any advice and appreciate all opinions, i've gone English over Witts for the DPP flexibility and potentially getting a better rookie (Preuss) on field

But you've got Rachele, Brodie, Coniglio and Dunkley all with M/F DPP already in your forward line. Why can't you just use those?

I'd trade Gibcus before Rachele honestly. I have less faith in Gibcus spiking a big score and no-one would've started a 170K KPD if there weren't better rookie options anyway.
They mentioned on 'On The Couch' last night that Grimes could be out for up to 8 weeks, does this hinder or help Gibcus's scoring?

Would people generally agree that if you haven't got Tom Green by now you have missed the boat?

English, Martin and O'Driscoll will probably be on the shopping list

Berry, Rachele, Durdin, Gibcus, Owens will all be under consideration as trade out options

I can't see the attraction of O'Driscoll myself.

i wouldnt say missed the boat, just depends on whether you view him as a season long keeper premium or not

i personally wouldnt grab him, only due to leon cameron being coach, but can also see him going 110 if given a good role

premo for 500k is hard to pass up if you have the confidence

The role looks locked to me and at his original price he’s only ever been a keeper to anyone who has had him. The only question is does he sustain this level of play or does he drop off to 95-105avg, how does he deal if a tag comes his way, etc

Rachelle or D.Stephens > Martin

Ward to D. Shiel ????? $361 - Rd.1 - 101 against Geelong, didn't play Rd 2 Rd.3 - 100 against Melbourne. stepping stone to prem and rookie off field. Is this stupid.
I am actually strongly considering Shiel as I am in a position where I have to field guys like Rachele/Stephens. 2 games, 2 tons, no Merrett for 5-6 weeks, proven scorer in the past. Was All Australian in 2017, runner up B&F in 2020, happy to punt with Shiel and hope he keeps punching out decent scores in the short term, stepping stone to a fallen prem when Merrett is back. Missed the boat with the other mid pricers, this option could be a nice POD.

Anyone looking @ Dylan Shiel.................after just 2x games this year he's looked good I thought.............and could be close to his 2020 year which wasn't too shabby.

Currently a reasonable $361K..............paltry BE of 13x and a suggested increase of $30K next round...............and Adelaide @ home coming up.

Nice little smokey maybe ????

Never really been a fan...........lol.............so I just might trade him in..........:p
