I'll say I'm fairly confident
Interesting as I read Leon's comment as they think Preuss and Flynn can be an AWESOME combination over time and will play them sometimes together where needed, with Preuss the main ruck when doing so.

With Darcy likely to play and maybe Meek or Lobb as back up, felt like a game where they both play. Yet the SC Gods like to test us, such as Hewett, where they create doubt by changing conditions between game 2 to game 3.

Makes sense why they are in the top 20….some great moves made to have all 10….although likely to also have used a few trades to get them all in…
I disagree. Here are the starting ownerships for the 10:

Daicos 82.3%
Coniglio 75.9%
Hayes 60.2%
Rowell 51.6%
Brodie 39.8%
Cripps 35.5%
Hewett 31.8%

Xerri 16.5%
Bowey 7.2%
Green 0.9%

They're in the top 20 because they started with those first 7 and they've managed to avoid middling premium scores thus far (English over Gawn, Short over Crisp, Oliver over Steele/Touk ... you get the picture). Then simply target the other 3 and voila.

Best way I've found to avoid Covid is to not test..........but sadly with the travel for work I'm doing lately my nose is starting to bleed every time I stick it.
Best method in WA is to make sure you catch it if you're a close contact, catch it and you get 12 weeks exemption from the ridiculousness, try and avoid it and in a household of 4 you're going to end up not allowed to leave your house for a month basically if you end up catching it anyway.

David Mundy for example is good for the next 12 weeks but, as far as I know, all the other WA players who've missed games were only close contacts and so are still at complete risk of missing games.

No idea what the rules are over east.

I thought the same about the month isolation, have a family of four, but my son got Covid from school we all isolated, then my daughter was positive about 5 days later and I thought ****e another 7 days but no we could leave 7 days after the first positive. Nuts as I could leave my house with a positive case in the house. Only requirement was needed to do RAT test every day.

This is in Perth, I guess they think if you didn’t catch it in the first 7 days you are unlikely to catch it, wife and I didn’t catch it. Plus if you had five to ten kids you would never leave isolation.

Anyway back to the football Carlton 8 zero here we come.

so your saying they would have used 3 trades most likely to target the other 3 players? So you disagree but have made the same statement effectively that I have?
I have seen some teams with these players in already have used 5 trades across 3 rounds….

Yeah same, we don't even need to isolate as an "essential worker", just RAT test each day and move on. My daughter tested positive a few months back and I was at work in hours. Oh the joys.

As someone currently dealing with COVID protocols in my personal life I can say they are both ****ing annoying but also necessary. This virus is so bloody contagious and being in the same space as someone with it means you probably get it, maybe, until the test says you didn't.
Disagree, I know so many close contacts who never caught it despite even sleeping in the same bed. We apparently supposed to be at the treating it like the flu stage. Yes forced isolation for a positive is logical. And creating an environment where people stay home with the flu or a cold is great. But making healthy people who test negative isolate is ludicrous and businesses are suffering as a result. Cafe next to my work is still closed despite all the foot traffic. They simply can't get staff and have been trying since October. Such a simple solution, if you're a close contact you need to test every day for x amount of days.

North Melb.
Anyway back to the football Carlton 8 zero here we come.
Only 6 years ago North were 9-0 out of nowhere really (few good wins followed by the draw opening up significantly).

A bunch of injuries and tougher opponents saw us only win 3 more for the year and finish 8th on 12-10 (including 5 consecutive losses in the final rounds to top 7 teams).

Out of the finals in the first week as the Doggies came from 7th to win the lot.

Fun times celebrating all those wins though :ROFLMAO:
