Unsure if I've cooked my wig here, always scary removing Max.

Gawn/Hough > Preuss/Cripps

Thoughts?

I would say that people in the situation he mentioned felt like they didn't have any after Darcy, Gawn, English were no longer options.
You either went down to Witts (never averaged over 95) Marshall (seems like the clear 4th best choice) hope for dpp or Pruess who wasn't playing.

FWIW, I did this. Had Darcy & Grundy most of the preseason, had to make the change. Went Marshall hoping for a decent return until dpp (I already had a stuffed forward line with English, Dunks, Heeney, Butters, Cogs).

I understand what you are saying and I think Marshall could still be a really solid pick in the long run if he gets dpp.
People with him are thinking about the here and now though. Do I really wanna hold a guy with a poor games history holding out for a maybe dpp and a Ryder injury when I can just trade say Marshall>Green put English in the rucks then get a good rookie like Martin/Xerri onfield up forward.

I am also concerned about other possible better dpp targets like Bont or Danger ect and having room for them.
All this is why I went straight for Jack Hayes R2. It's been a rollercoaster but I haven't been constantly second guessing myself.

Surely it has to be Dow who is $80k less?
Just the almost guarantee of solid points on field from Brodie that others will get... whereas I hadn't even heard of Dow 'till this week, so I can't confidently place him in the same bracket for the short-term.

What's the plan for this week mate?? Do you have English/Jackson to swing in to cover him? (assuming he will be dropped)

Thinks Stephens probably has to go. Will likely be the sub this week and another <20 score will just destroy him.

Will Dow keep up his scoring with Prestia back? I'm reminded of RCD last year. Could also go a week early on Pruess.

Best trade in player, 615k or less? Position doesn't matter.

Okay, I'm conflicted... After a few different thoughts, I'd settled on Ben Keays 580k, good pod, scoring well in crap side..

But do I go Green instead? Gone up 70k but still cheap if he can keep producing..

Can someone talk me out of wanting Green...? 🙏

Hi all. I don't have Hinge, i do have Sinn. Is it worth trading Sinn to Hinge or maybe even O'driscoll? Hinge is obviously the better scorer and better js you'd think than O'driscoll but is 110k more expensive. I'd never usually consider trading in a Hinge type once they've had a price rise, but with Gibcus, McCartin, Sinn & SDK all in my backline, i'm needing some better cover; it would cost me 75k to trade Sinn to Hinge, Sinn to O'Driscoll i'd make 30k. Would just holding be better? (Which i was planning on doing).

Thanks for any help.

Maybe look at your first upgrade in defence.

I pulled him in last week, so happy with that. Depends if you are willing to pay the extra bills. What is this crap side stuff? I know we only beat Port last week, but bloody hell!

Edit: How the Bombers going?

Thinking I should perhaps just stick with who I have for this round?

DEF: Short, Crisp, Whitfield, Hewitt, McCartin, Hinge (SDK, NOD)
MID: Macrae, Touk, Neale, Cripps, Rowell, Berry, JHF, Daicos (D. Stephens, Ward, Macdonald)
RUC: Grundy, English (Dixon)
FWD: Dunkley, Butters, Cogs, Brodie, Xerri, Martin (Hayes, Rachele)

34 trades / ~250k ITB - can't see any moves I *need* to make this week based on who I could potentially bring in?

Even if Stephens ends up being the sub and posts a low score his BE of he'll still keep his value, so it seems prudent to not burn a trade just for the sake of it and keep him for another week until the next wave of rookies comes on the bubble, unless there's something I'm missing?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
