Dylan Stephens has been named in the swans reserves team whilst Taylor & Bell haven’t, so it looks like one of them is set to be the sub.

Happy about that, can wait till next week before assessing what to do with him.
Doesn’t hurt for him to freshen up for a week….looked lost out there last week and we need him to be delivering 60-80 point range as a minimum off the wing….

Macdonald and Ward on the bench as cover…

Here in lies the accountability. KH is a good man manager and communicator. Appears to need quality Assistants to get the best out of the team via game management. Not sure where Port will end up this year but almost makes me glad I am a bombers supporter.

got to feel to Port supporters putting up with ****e from their cross town idiots all year though........
I'm yet to see a single port supporter back Hinkley at this point

I wish teams had to announce the medical sub when teams drop. Would make life easier for us.

Dont want to VC Neale tonight with the tag coming, but not knowing if Hayes is the sub as my only other zero is frustrating.
I agree and am in the same situation. However, common sense would say that if you leave a bloke out because it makes you too tall, you don't make him the sub. If they activate him, they become too tall and lose run, which is totally the opposite of what you want late in a game.

Worst thing is that Hayes's versatility probably makes him a good sub...

I now suddenly have four red dots to deal with this week: Owens, Stephens, Durdin and now Hayes.
Owens - not coming back, first out. Easy swap to Martin.
Durdin - should be back in a week, probably still a good slow burn. No VC value this week though as I've already thrown that dart at Trac.
Stephens - I doubt this is a rest, he's not a rookie in the literal sense, was just the worst performed and first out of the Swans. Has to be in the gun.
Hayes - a sub role would basically necessitate moving him out, but don't find out til Sunday when everyone relevant to jump to is gone.

I do think I can hold off a week on the rest though because there's no urgency on Preuss (I can't get his score anyway) and I'm just not seeing Dow as a must have.

Don’t think the knives are quite out yet from what I’m hearing Mr Problems. They’re at least smart enough to realise getting rid of him now will completely blow up their season, especially when they don’t have Voss waiting in the wings anymore to step up.

Wonder how our friendly Crows supporters around here feel about that Crowls 😂
Had the joy of working at a wine function for my employer in Adelaide the day after the crows won the flag in 1998, Very long weekend watchng the GF in local pub followed by working at the location of Sunday post grandfinal Crows function. As stated above a long suffering essendon supporter who is hoping to see us rise one more time. As people most of us are fine, all football supporters well lets just say many of us have some biases that overtake us on weekends....

Feel pretty luck I have just the three red dots here, both forward in Durdin, Steoehen and now Hayes. Will be interesting next week whether to pull the trigger and trade one of the out for Pruess (via Dixon's DPP) given he looks like a pretty good cash generator. All would make good cash though assuming they come back in.
