Might put Berry out of his missery. Surely can't play with that bung shoulder. Couldn't even raise it up.
Guy who you picked up for $268k scores 96 and has a breakeven of 17. Even with a sore shoulder, that he's already been playing with.

But the obvious thing is to dump him instead of letting him make another quick $70k or so over the next couple of weeks?

Wow, I wish I had the unlimited trade hack that let me do these kinds of trades. :(

What are your expectations for the remainder of the season for Boak?

Do you think he will sustain the form?

Is there potential to receive a great return on investment?

Can the cash be better utilised to fund rookie upgrades over the coming months, etc?

Do you have sufficient bench depth to allow you to hold Cripps?

Looking at Cripps to Hall.

Hall has a high BE but I dont see JZ going back any time soon and expect to see Luke Mcdonald go to Bont this week leaving all seagull work to Hall.

How many trades has everyone used so far. Above trade will be 4 for me. Feel like I have held onto them fairly well

Good lord , Round 5 and you have used 12 trades already !!!!!

You still probably need 8-10 upgrades.

Stop trading and give your players a chance

You're not going to have any trade boosts left in a few weeks and no trades left to properly upgrade rookies and mid pricers.

Early thoughts..

Hinge to NOD - frees up 187k

Could go Cripps to someone prob Heeney

But could also hold fire and wait to use Butters to get discounted Petracca/Oliver in a week.. will only cost 100kish

Or I could grab Doc now 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️😂

I’m hesitant of the Sinclair and Steele getting de boer and ashed in a few weeks but

Cripps, Ridley and Hinge

To

Steele, Sinclair and Nod

Leaves me

Short, Hall, Hewett, Sinclair, Bowey, Nod
McCartin, dekoning

Neale, Macrae, Touk, Steele, Rowell, Daicos, Jhf, Rachele
Ward, Stephens, MacDonald

Gawn, Grundy
Hayes

Butters, Dunkley, Brodie, Cogs, Xerri, Martin
Durdin, Dixon

30 trades 2.9k

Bowey and Rowell will become Clarry and a rookie the following week with Daicos becoming d5

Can do plenty of combos with the two premos for Cripps and Ridley. I don’t want to play Ward on field for Cripps and I started him so don’t feel it’s a waste of a trade. Many who traded Cripps in I feel are stuck as it’s too many wasted trades if you get rid of him now. Ridley doesn’t have the role I wanted, he’s a gun but I think him missing a week with concussion is a blessing to move him on to Sinclair who’s role looks unreal on the ball and gulling off half back. He gets the best of both worlds

Thoughts?

As much as I want Docherty he scares me

2020 had to trade him out the last few rounds
Started him in 2021 again and mid year had to trade him

People we target as upgrades are so important. It’s why I don’t mind fading Oliver and Lloyd types at the start cause I know targeting them as upgrades they’re safe to play the rest of the year. Crisp the same. I think this gives merit In taking a punt on a few more Risky players to start ala hall, Cripps this year. Targeting them mid year as upgrades may end up wasting multiple trades through injury as we’ve already seen with people who brought in Cripps. (Very very stiff)

Anyway just venting some thoughts

Would trade in Doch or Lloyd before Hall if you don’t have either of them.

I already own Hall FWIW.

So if Round 7 is Oliver , Round 6 is Petracca & Preuss just need to work out this round.

Any chance Bont gets DPP ?

wait for confirmation of how long Cripps & Hinge are out for I guess

Seeing quite a bit of discussion and moves being made to trade out Josh Ward this week.

Yeah he's scoring very poorly at the moment (given his starting price) however is it really justified trading him out right now, especially if he continues to get selected in the Hawthorn team? He's a slow burn but has a somewhat friendly role and Sam Mitchell is backing him for now anyways. If he continues getting selected, I feel like holding for a couple more weeks. He has a BE of 29, which isn't THAT bad...!

A high draft pick and could come good with a spike game. The stage could be set next week: Easter Monday. MCG. Geelong. Big clash. Big crowd.

C'mon lads where's the optimism?! :D:LOL: 🤞
