Can't decide on who to field in DEF this week:

McCartin vs KANG
Hinge vs ESS
Gibcus vs WBD

I'd probably ranked them as I've listed, just unsure on the first 2. Thoughts?

Ignoring their opposition I would have them in that order easily.

Considering the opposition you could make a case for Hinge over McCartin given the ball might never get to Paddy’s area.

Gibcus 3rd whichever way you look at it.

I would go McCartin.

Who to field to cover Preuss. Hayes, Dixon or Xerri. Unfortunately, no loophole options.

Would assume Dixon should pick up where he left off last week without NN and is playing an undermanned Sydney ruck line-up. I didn't see all of the game v the Pies but he did appear to be getting a lot of it around the ground. The fact that he racked up 96sc without hitting the scoreboard is a positive. 10 contested possessions, 4 tackles and 3 clearances suggests he has a pretty good SC game.

Hayes should come in for Ryder so the potential score is there at Marvel v GC

Xerri v the Dogs - ??? Dogs are actually giving up the second most HOs after Port. North give up the least and are ranked 3rd for HOs. The query is who is sharking them.

I need to bench one of Jack Hayes and Thomson Dow. One will be played straight on-field, the other will have the E on them and be looped on if they score well at the expense of Nathan O'Driscoll. Any thoughts?
