:unsure::unsure::unsure:

You must have a very strong fwd line and midfield line if you're not willing to field arguably 2 of the best averaging rookies going around.

Martin 86 average
Hayes 89 average

(Only Daicos 87 narrowly beats out Martin.)
It's not that unreasonable to only want to field one is it?

Of 14 onfield spots:

4 premo mids (say Macrae Steele Brayshaw Green)
4 premo forwards (say English Dunkley Heeney Butters)
Neale and Cripps
Coniglio and Brodie
Daicos (if in mids) and Xerri

That's 14, so theoretically there's people who are fielding neither Martin nor Hayes.

I've got Martin benched and no onfield mid rookies (thanks to Daicos DEF eligibility).

Is Rosas a must?

I watched the game on the weekend and he was quite impressive when he was around the ball. I'm a little scared to bring in a full fledged small forward though.

It's either him or SHayes atm.. I don't think I cN get both without losing my r/f link... and I don't want to do that.

Does Port have any other Ruckman? Or is Hayes pretty much who they'll use till Lycett returns?

This was very much team specific towards the person I was replying to. Have a look at their team. They wanted Rosas but not willing to field Hayes.

Hold up, if you can see his team why are you saying he must have a very strong fwd line and midfield line? You can see for yourself :p

But yeah, for my money Rowell out for Rosas. Could always play Ward onfield if not confident on Martin :sneaky:

I'm interested in Bailey Smith($523,000) as a mid upgrade mainly due to price, the Bulldogs easy upcoming fixture plus he's stlll an outside dpp chance.
He also fits my bye rounds strategy.

Bulldogs next play Adelaide, Ess, Port, Coll, Gold Coast, West Coast, Geelong and then bye round.

Someone I would definitely look at too, if I didn't already have 4 dog premiums in mid and forward.

As tempting as Smith is, that's a lot of Bulldogs premiums all wanting a piece of the same pie (English, Macrae, Bont, Dunkley, Treloar, Smith, Dale, Daniel).
If you avoid all Crows, Suns, Cat, Swans & Eagles.

This could be your round 13 bye bench. :ROFLMAO:
DEF: (Daniel, Dale)
MID: (Macrae, Bont, Bazlenka)
RUC: (English)
FWD: (Dunkley, Treloar)

If you had them all this weekend you would have scored 8/1078 (Macrae C)

Also Libba not far behind on 83.

I think it works as long as you have only 2 on each mid and fwd line, i.e. Macrae + Smith, English + Dunkley

If you have Bont/Treloar that throws a spanner in the words

If you have Dale/Daniel in defence you're toast

Not sure what to do this week.

Think my biggest issue I want to address is having to play Gibcus/McCartin/De Koning at D6 when I have better rookies on the bench on other lines. If I can somehow manufacture something to swing Daicos into defense, would be much better balanced.

Thinking Rowell and JHF probably the ones that need to go, appear to be the weakest links at this stage.

Rowell > Preuss (via Martin to mids and Dixon to FWD)
JHF > Rosas

These would be preferred trades I think, but don't help my defense.

Can anyone see a way I can swing this to get Daicos in the backline?

Try Gibcus to Rosas
