I think my trades will be two of Rachele/Berry/JHF to Greg Clark and one of English/Laird/Keays.

Prioritising English at 570k above all else IF he gets up. Otherwise I need to decide between Laird vs. Keays +40k. Runs on the board vs. Breakout.

Tempted to flick Brodie in all honesty, hes made 220k and would be the obvious ticket to Mills,Gawn or Steele before they get away from us in value.

Not sure hes a keeper when Tucker and Fyfe start playing midfield and even Erasmus and Johnson start to get opportunities.

My decision is what to do with Xerri. It’s either down to Nads or up to Gawn. If I get Gawn it locks the ruck line with Gawn/Preuss/SHayes, but means Naicos and NoD run at M7&8.

My preference is to get to Nads for the cash gen, as anyone with a genuine premo R1 can’t get him as they already have SHayes at R3, so I get an advantage of the extra cash gen. It also means that Mills can come into the midfield meaning Naicos and NoD can loop at M8. I think this maximizes my points return and cash gen at the same time. Gawn will have wait until SHayes is ready to cull.

Is that the right thinking, or have not drunk enough coffee yet?

Nice pick up Courts, Good 2nd score from McComb. Inside mid though playing partly forward, 2 goals, 20 possessions and just 63.

I didn't see the game, did he look ok to the eye test? 50% DE.
McComb did not look ok actually. His kicking is awful and he barely hit a target. It was terrible last week too.

The 2 goals will keep him in the team this week I’m guessing, but how much longer can he really get away with kicking below AFL standard?

Of course there is also a chance he becomes one of those weird favourites Bevo loves to persist with like Gardner, Anthony Scott, McNeil etc.

My main decision this week will be Parker vs Petracca.

Then the other decision will be which rookie comes in between Strnadica, Curtis, McComb or maybe going early on Clark.

Looks like there will be multiple rookie options next week so going early on Clark might be a good move.

Hayes > Strnadica - ok, bit of a no brainer. Will continue to roll with Hayes as R2 for the moment.
Rachele > McComb if I'm convinced about his JS. Otherwise maybe a week early on Clark.
Berry > Steele. Finally!

I'm in a strange spot. I need one more mid upgrade, and I don't have Cripps. At 526k with a 29 BE he's the obvious target this week. BUT in terms of getting rookies off the ground, the midfield is the last spot I should upgrade. I have Martin averaging over 90 at M8. Forwards are finished (Brodie tho). So if I did JHF-Cripps, I'd be pushing Martin off to the bench. Def is where I have the worst rookies onfield, with Daicos at d5 and NOD/McCartin at d6.

So do I fade Cripps in order to bring in say Docherty and push NOD off-field? Or just do the JHF to Cripps and put up with having to play NOD over Martin for a couple of weeks? Cripps over Doch should be +10-20 points (and 40k), but Martin over NOD is probably 20 points too. I'm confused.

A) Durdin/Dixon/JHF to Curtis/Strnadica/Cripps (NOD onfield, Martin to bench)
B) Durdin/Dixon/JHF to Curtis/Strnadica/Dale (Martin onfield, NOD to bench)
C) Dixon/Brodie to Strnadica/Cripps (NOD and Martin onfield)

Option C for mine.

Martin stays on field and get Cripps in to that midfield?

Who would you trade first? JHF (BE of 58) or NOD (BE of 77)?

Both playing each other this week.
