Teams in a pretty reasonable spot but really not sure what to do this week, any thoughts would be appreciated, flew up the rankings last week so inclined to keep making aggressive moves. Screenshot_20220503-044047_SuperCoach.jpg

I'd be looking at getting my worst rookies off the field, so Durdin/Dixon out & Carrol in, Martin to F6, JHF > Clark at M8, Noddy/Paddy > premium defender, leaves...

Daicos D6 (would probably go to another premium def. the week after using Hamilton as the downgrade option)
Clark M8
Preuss R2
Martin F6

19 trades for 4 upgrades and a bit of room for a couple of luxury upgrades over the byes.

Means going early on 2 rookies but you said you wanted to be aggressive.

Was going to trade Dixon but honestly hes solo Ruck for a week now minimum could make some decent cash yet, this is doable and looks pretty good to me. Screenshot_20220503-065526_SuperCoach.jpg

I think Carroll will be fine played mostly on the wing and honestly Carltons options there are very very average (plodders like Setterfield,Newnes etc.), should be pumping games into the kid as he can play, I'll probably go McComb though, really only has to hold his spot and hell make 150k pretty easily as a 102k mature aged rookie plsyed far better on the weekend just needs to clean up some of his ball use which should come with more senior footy under his belt as I've never found his kicking a problem at VFL level.

There's obvious risks in recruiting a rookie early and that risk is doubled by bringing in 2, FWIW I'm doing the same but I see them both as being best 22 players and the probability of them both scoring well is high, was looking at McComb but his DE is woeful and will probably mean he's out sooner rather than later. I'm also watching how Cooper Hamilton goes (he comes from up my way, Colbinabbin) so going early on the others this week will give me a simple 1 up, 1 down next week. Getting Carroll and Clark this week also improves my team by over 100 pts/week so for me the pros outweigh the cons.

Will Brodie BE 86. Has done his job and made 230K, is it time to move him on. Thinking of turning him Into Cripps.

Looking like their is a few FWD rookie options appearing in next few weeks.?

Possibly, but probably only if you can turn him into a top end (120+ ave palyer), he is averaging 96 and if he can go 85-95 as a FWD until the byes (worth noting he pobably has the best bye for a flip to a Rd 12 or Rd 13m bye player going in to Rd 14), then I'm happy to sit on him until the byes.

I also have much bigger problems with real rookies losing cash than to worry about guys like Conilgio, Brodie, Dacios etc, that I have to fix first.

That's pretty close to one of my trade options also
With Dixon possibly being solo ruck,
looking at Rachele/ Daicos/ Durdin > Clark,McComb, Gawn now.

Durdin has really stallled with his cash generation, Dixon had far better potential to score higher in his current role.

Yeah I was initially keen on trading Brodie this week but a quick look at bye structure showed how useful he is there, particularly up forward for rd13.

Parker? He's potentially a Top 6 forward for only 518K...
I think Parker's a fair price now so a good pick if he suits your byes and doesn't stop you from getting English when he comes back, but it's not like he's a bargain anymore. Priced at about 104 which would be right in the guts of my range for him from here.

Yes, but Cripps should outscore him by 20+ per round until the byes, and Cripps suits my bye structure, as even without Brodie I will have enough players in field. Assuming no injuries.

Looking as if most of the top 1000 have Cripps in their team. Thinking I need to join them.?
