No Gawn sadly, but he doesn't fit my structure at the moment, also, I think I may be a bit short on cash to get him in.
I'm thinking burning a boost and going something like:
Dow to Clark
Rachelle to McComb
McCreary to Gawn

leaving 101k in bank

Can't quite get Gawn in 2 trades.
And keep JHF for the time being

Those trades look good to me. McComb job security is a bit unknown, but he will make you money at worst. And I don't know how much we will need the Boost Trades later? At the moment, Covid is not affecting us SuperCoaches much, but heard on the TV news, that 2 new strains of Covid has entered Australia and it is not yet known how they will affect us. They said that it may bypass the vaccinations we already had.

Yep, that is the problem with 35 trades, players are happy to use a trade to turn a underperforming premium to a hot premium, if they keep 35 trades next year will consider not playing anymore.

The only advantage is competing your side a week or two before the masses and plan your byes.
It seems like that now, but after people do that they're still going to come out of byes with limited trades and there will be significant differences as those who were more conservative are able to trade in hot "2nd half of year* premos, or just fix a string of injuries.

McComb I’m torn by. 102k feels like a no brainer, but Riolii, Hamilton with DPP are on the table next week. Perhaps you take the money this week, and boost agin next week.
I have plenty of guys putting their hand up to go, NoD, Daicos, Rachele, Xerri. So Im thinking Curtis and McComb this week, and two more next week. The way the WA teams are getting smashed by COVID, no guarantee that Clark plays next week anyway! Just like Nads

I think I'm going to use my 4th boost this week

Whitfiled, NDacios, Rachele to Sicily, Pendes, Clark

Leaves 19 trades (1 boost)

Ridley, Short, Sicily, Hewett, Pendles, McCartin (Hinge, SDK)
Macrae, Jelly, Neale, Cripps, Rowell, Green, JDG, Clark (NOD, JHF, Ward)
Gawn, Pruess (SHayes)
Dunkley, Heeney, Parker, Brodie, Coniglio, Martin (Dixon, Benning)

Leaves only $20,600 ITB

Whitfield is basically colatoral damage related to having too many Rd 12 premiuims. Probably going early on Dacios, but gets two round 14 keepers (which are lacking).

Leaves as definate upgrades McCartin, Clark, Martin and Pruess (maybe), but still have plenty of dispsable value on bench (SDK, Hinge, NOD, JHF) to get the last upgrades done.

Thoughts?

Anyone considering keeping NOD with all the outs at Freo giving him a chance to have a more prominent role against North?
I'm going back and forth with trading either NOD or McCartin.
I think McCartin will be more reliable, while NOD is 50/50 he'll either go big against Nth, or stay at is current 50ish scoring level.
One thing agaist NOD is that his 100 score drops out this round, so he'll drop $$ with a challenging BE (77)

With the way my team is set up and a desire to get Steele next week, I am forced to keep NOD.

I would be trading him if I could though.

Considering:

A. Whitfield, JHF, Daicos > Sicily, Parker, Clark.

B. Brodie, JHF, Daicos > Sicily, Parker, Clark.

Thoughts please.

Considering:

A. Whitfield, JHF, Daicos > Sicily, Parker, Grant.

B. Brodie, JHF, Daicos > Sicily, Parker, Grant

Thoughts please.
Whom is this Grant you speak of?

I thnk depending on your bye situation Brodie has the better bye as far as I'm concerned and can be flipped around his bye.

If it is Clark you refer to, then I would probably lean towards A (if this helps with the bye management), personally I'm happy to sit on Brodie a bit longer.
