It's an interesting conundrum. A lot of cash to have sitting in a donut but he does have DPP so could come in handy if you're down to playing one or two rookies / under-performers at D6 and M8. I suspect many will have finished their teams soon so those opportunities won't be there.

Personally, this helps resolve one issue for me. I was contemplating holding both NOD and Daicos (both R14 bye) through rounds 12 and 13. Will now upgrade him to my final D6 premium and hold Daicos.
