Maybe it's the toddler induced early morning wake up, but is anyone getting an itchy trigger finger on Cogs? Flicking him allows either Goldy to F5 and Preuss in to R2 or SDK swing to F6 and Lloyd/Vlaustin to D5.

I'm real late on Preuss but he looks good for 100+ each game particularly agaist the Blues with no real recognised ruck (I know TDK is a good prospect) and Flynn omitted

Is moving cogs on now ridiculous?
I’m keen to see where and how he plays under a new coach, but @Ormos point is the reason I’m trading Rowell, so that’s a new/interesting point to consider.

Frustrating. Especially given how much time he spent off the field.

I traded Rowell to Baz a few weeks back for the same reason. Never really occurred to me with Cogs untill this morning. I guess I hold pure mids to higher standards but the conditions are similar.

Good point RE role under McVeigh. Perhaps not much will change as hes part of the existing coaching setup. Maybe watch and wait.

Incredibly stiff there, 1 touch off and extended time on the bench in the 3rd.

Did he spend a lot of time on the bench? I hadn't heard about that just from following along here...

Bad luck on the multi @Creeker, always frustrating to get so close and miss.
Yeah, I might be wrong about the time. I was only watching on and off. Either way, very stiff for Creeker.

Edit: 75% TOG. About 10 % less than most of the team.

Sorry, nothing against your comment, it was more just a bit of a dig at someone mentioning it 5 or 6 times during the match last night in this thread. I wasn't watching either after about quarter time, but I think it would have been more third quarter when he was largely on the bench based on the times of those posts.

Played: J Macrae and J Dunkley

Yet to play:
Saturday: J Short, Z Butters, I Heeney, L Parker, P McCartin (covering Pendlebury), D Zorko, L Neale (VC), N Martin, J Ridley
Sunday: T Miller, W Brodie, S Darcy (new recruit) J Kelly, L Whitfield, B Preuss, S Coniglio, P Cripps, G Hewett, C Oliver (C) and G Clark (new recruit)

Very disappointing for Pendlebury to be a late out with Crisp, Sicily and Dawson all under heavy consideration last round but still plenty of time for him to compensate for his brief absence and McCartin should be great cover this round. Fixtures once again not friendly in the rucks as it is unlikely I bank a score from S Hayes using J Hayes given there are a lack of downgrade options in the position, I do not possess a ruck/forward and most of my other rookies are not currently ready to be traded which explains the need for Darcy.

Indeed

Of course I also didn't help myself by swapping English with his R/F backup on Monday (putting English on field), and then forgetting it because I was so focused on organising my rookies. Means I'm locked in a likely dodgy E score from either McCartin or SDK.

Clearly trading English all those weeks ago was the move.
